Better than I remembered

Only my second time. Course still has a way to go but got a great deal and played in a light day so pace was great. Greens only had a few rough spots. Tees ok. Fairways a bit thin.

Timber Green's is well maintained and fun to play

I have played at Timber Greens in the past couple of months as much as any other course on the north side. Since I live on the north end of Pinellas County I often venture into Pasco and North Tampa to get a variety of play. Timber's greens are large, contoured and in great shape. The course handles water drainage, with a couple of exceptions, very well. It is a short course but with some interesting hole layouts. It's fun to play from the back tees or the whites (without your driver). Clubhouse is great and staff is friendly. There is a lot of member play, particularly in the morning, that can slow the pace. It's in a 55+ community so a lot of seniors and couples play. Just be patient and prepared or book an afternoon tee time.
