We always play The River Course when our wives are with us. It is very fair for them as they don't hit the ball very far. It is challenging enough for the fellas. The fairways in the greens were in Immaculate shape. Price was exceptional. This is about a 50 minute ride for us, but well worth it. Only criticism is that some of the bunkers the sand is too hard period on one hole I had to put out instead of using my wedge. We love the course. Just wish it was closer to where we live.

Played on 100 degree day, high humidity. Course Tee box to green excellent shape. Greens had some rough spots. Pro shop did advise of this and gave us coupon for replay of $30 as an "apology" prior to playing. I have a second residence there, but the coupon expires in a week, not much use to me. Had course practically to ourselves. Pearl is always a good choice in the Myrtle area.
