Georgetown Country Club
Played On 04/25/2017Don't let the "Best Kept Secret" keep you from playing
This is a great course. It is tight and gives you lots of practice for those wide, luxurious courses that are not as much of a challenge. It's Beautiful, short, had some challenging holes and some fairly (easy) shots will give you what you want. Don't miss out on this PRIVATE course. It is fun and aggravating at the same time.
Highland Walk at Victoria Bryant
Played On 07/07/2015Long and Physical
This is a public owned golf course, in rural Georgia, with plenty of room. Long rolling hills, fairly open fairways, a fun drivers course. It is challenging on level ground, greens are in excellent shape. There are new carts, friendly & helpful staff. Be prepared to get your exercise and it was hot and humid.
Indian Springs Metropark Golf Course
Played On 07/05/2015Nice & Easy
ALERT: The golf course is in a County Park. There's a $5.00 vehicle entrance fee to enter the park. When we arrived we told the person at the entrance that we were going to play golf. She said just give them this ticket and they'll take it off the green fee. The guy in the Pro Shop said "no you are already getting too good a deal". So I said to him "that's the purpose of using Golf Now, that 's to get a good deal". So instead of letting it ruin the game, I just blew it off.
On the other hand, this is a nice, straight-a-way golf course, simple, rolling hills. Course is in fair to good shape. Greens good. All in all a fun course.
Mustang Creek Golf Course
Played On 03/27/2014Mustang Creek-A Fun, laid back experience.
This little course suffers in the drought, but in the spring, the greens are beautiful. Play it before it gets to be TEXAS summer. There are no trees to hide from the sun. Don't take it too seriously, just have fun. Go to Louis Mueller Bar-B-Q in Taylor after the game.
