Apparently tee boxes with grass is optional at this course. This course is not well maintained. This is my one and only time playing here.

I played this course several times and was very disappointed at the course condition during my last round. The maintenance, especially in the rough areas, was simply neglected, fallen trees, lots of bare spots on the fairways, etc. It was pretty evident that the overpriced green fees are not invested in caring for the course. I think Gary Player would be very disappointed to have his name associated with this course.

I understand their booking system had a bug that caused them to overbook Tee times causing a 5+ hour round. I had good company and nothing better to do so pace of play wasn’t a big. Issue for me. However, the group behind us brought a Bluetooth speaker and had music up full blast the entire round. I was very disappointed the staff didn’t do anything to prevent them from being a distraction to other golfers.

This was probably the worst experience I ever had on a golf course. I am not exaggerating when I say the entire course was soggy & muddy. Every tee box and fairway was slushy to the point you couldn’t walk out to your ball without water getting in your shoes. The fairways looked like they weren’t mowed in weeks. I lost a few balls that were not errant, they just got lost in the deep grass. The area has been experiencing rain on a daily basis lately, but it appears they are doing a poor job managing the course around the weather. The other courses nearby do not seem to be experiencing these challenges. I really like this course layout. It’s a shame that it has degraded to this level.

The course is a nice layout and fun to play. However, the starter ruined my overall experience. I arrived an hour early to warm up and stretch. The three golfers I was paired with also showed up early and the starter sent them out early and failed to allow me to play early too. At my tee time I was sent out as a single behind a course full of foursomes. When I complained to the starter he acted like he did nothing wrong. This guy clearly is not Qualified for this role.

Perhaps the worst golf course I have ever played. The fairways and greens were in terrible shape. The one and only day that I played there it looked like the fairways were not owed for at least two weeks, no exaggeration. I lost three balls in the middle of the fairway because the grass was so deep. I should have known it was going to be a bad experience when I pulled in a the parking lot and there were only five cars. This may be one of the cheapest rounds you find on line, but I would not play there again even if the round was free.

Great course with lots of scenery, character and challenges. I saw a couple snakes and a few gators during my round. Don't go looking for your ball if you hit it in the woods!

A very nice course. My only complaint is the starter paired me on the cart with another single who was a smoker. I would suggest that they be more sensitive with their guests, especially when it comes the their health. My cart partner had a cigarette in his mouth when the starter paired us up and he went through an entire pack of smokes through 18 holes.
