Course was in good shape and fast! At the turn station they were making breakfast sandwiches and burritos! It was a nice touch!

They were asking that all players double up in carts again if you’re worried about social distance.

Enjoy this course and you can’t beat the value for a walking resident in March-
When we book at 630 in the morning we don’t anticipate a long delay at the tee . Showed up and no one was in the club house and there was no starter. A group of a dozen guys just went up to the tee and someone came around asking our names and tee times —— clubhouse never opened before we started playing. This mayhem put us behind by 15-20 minutes for a sunrise tee time. And we waited every hole because they were rifling us off 1 after another first thing with no gap.
COVID-19 precautions were appreciated. No rakes or ballwashers on course and foam in the hole- they also accept payment on the phone before you arrive so you don’t need to even go inside!

Course was in fantastic shape- greens were fast and pure. 4.5 hour pace of play- so not awful but not great.

could have done without the starter giving me a quiz in my political affiliation after he declared his and how unhappy he was with the other party trying to move into the area. Staff beyond that was great

in all fairness, there was a frost delay, so our tee time was delayed for an hour. but the recovery system was to fire everybody off as quick as they could. We were waiting 4 groups deep on the par 3 7th.
The pace was so bad that the pair who joined us quit after 9. We had to quit after 12 holes because we couldn't stand it any longer.
Until they get better at managing the 1st tee I'll stick with sunrise rounds if we play here

Can’t beat a round under 4 hours in January! fun course to play, good value when they’re overcharging in the rest of town

I’ve heard about the quality of this course for years, and it was a very fun track.
The greens were in good shape (aside from the random 3 that were punched recently). The fairways were covered in dead spots. The punched greens and fairways are the reason for a 4 star rating. Everything else was real nice. We were the first group out and got in and out in around 3 hours.

I love this course- was a member when I lived in the area 20 years ago, and course conditions are what I remembered and enjoyed. But if you’d like to buy a beer- bottle of water or a hot dog, you’re going to be outta luck.

We arrived and put our clubs on a cart, that hadn’t been even rinsed since the last group used it (my cup holder was a cigar ash tray). Staff inside were friendly as always—- i just have a hard time coming to grips with the fact that a course of this caliber is so short on the basics of clean carts and any sort of amenity (that you would think would just generate more revenue...?)

Like I said- golf is great - but just a little disappointed in the rest of the deal

Went here based on reviews of local public courses - in Hazleton from out of town and was looking to sneak in a quick 18.

Walked up without a tee time as a single at 8am and the crew got me right out. Played the blue and trail courses.

Everything is lined with trees- a lot of elevation changes, very fun course to play. The greens and tee boxes were in fantastic shape.

Really great value - I’ll definitely be back on future trips

Beautiful layout- fun course- played at 648 hoping to beat the heat and have a decent pace of play —- 4.5 hour round when we tee’d off before 7. Waited every shot including the first tee. I’m sure the pace was at 5 hours + for those that went off closer to 8

Not worth the drive to Buckeye for that——- plenty of fantastic courses around that won’t pile the groups on top of each other

Unreal that they have no drinking water on the whole course
