Layout was good, doglegs left and right with plenty of space between holes. fairways were very expansive with some mild hills and traps usually on each side of your drive. Maybe because of that, most holes seemed to be not well defined. #16 par 5 had the most character. Greens are why play here is a must. They were huge, fast with some slopes and ran true. Just great fun to putt on.

Most holes were unique, requiring well placed drives. Plenty of bunkers and water that are fairly placed. Greens roll fast, true and have undulations or different elevations. Plenty of tee boxes to fit your playing ability. Could use a few more marked sprinkler heads or a yardage booklet. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Our first time but we’ll definitely be back.

Course layout was good but not all unique holes. Fairways were excellent, greens rolled nice, not slow. Water and sand everywhere but still very playable. Great staff everywhere added to a fun day.

Unique layout using the natural terrain well. Greens were good speed and true but many golfers did not repair their ball marks. Several holes will be better played after first time. Should not be so expensive - surrounding courses are just as good but less than half the price.

Great course in excellent condition as well as spectacular views. Al holes are different, very hilly but playable and fun. Several greens have multiple tiers and were as fast as you’d want them with all the slopes.

Our twosome played behind a foursome for 9 holes, and then because one of them had not returned from the clubhouse, they let us go through. We quickly caught up to the Next foursome on 11 and waited for them on every shot until they finally let us play through on 15 (while they were looking for a lost ball on 15) there was no one in front of them all the way to 18. It ruined what could have been an enjoyable round of golf. I don’t blame the course but a RANGER could have been helpful, there were none.
Course was in very good shape, greens were good but not fast, layout has all unique holes requiring many different shots.

Greens were fairly fast and true. Fairways were excellent and all holes are different requiring several kinds of shots. All that good is hard to appreciate when the pace of play is so slow. 5 hrs to play and as a twosome we played at our own pace until number 5.

I enjoy playing here but this time although the greens were in nice shape , they were not fast. There is a lot of cart driving to get to many holes. All holes are unique but some are a bit tricky and have blind shots. It definitely helps to have played it several times.

It helps to know the course a little before playing. Greens are large and very fast but also very true. Many traps and some hazards to hit over. Good layout with most holes being different from the others. Greens make the course fun to play. Because it could be difficult for average golfers, play is slow. Major downside is the price.

All was good until we made the turn to find out that the normal back nine greens were being aerated. So we played the Lakes nine, a shorter nine with slower and more bumpy greens. Still like the course. Staff is always friendly.

All holes are different. Plays much more difficult than slope suggests. Greens were recently sanded and are of moderate speed but roll nice and true. Not many golfers out now so pace was excellent. Staff are all very friendly.

I love the layout here. Front nine is as good as any in the county but the greens, which have been fast in previous years, were very slow. Very friendly staff.

Greens were not fast (but could be later in the year) mostly flat, smooth and true. Every hole was unique and fun to play except if it’s your first time, check the guide carefully there’s a lot you can’t see from the tee box. I had an early morning tee time so pace was excellent but I could see if it were a crowded afternoon, pace could be real slow. Definitely will play again.

For early spring and after a heavy rain the course played very well. Cart path only to be expected. Greens were not fast but putted true. Staff made it a very enjoyable experience.

Very good layout, course was very wet after a lot of rain but greens still rolled true and with decent speed. Wide fairways to make tee shots more forgiving with big greens to hit to. I was a single and was fortunate that 3 different groups let me play through very quickly. Will definitely play again.

Fairways and tees were OK but most importantly greens were in very good shape, fast and true. very friendly staff, pace was slow but steady. Will play again anytime I can.

As I read in another review before making my tee time, Golf Now players are not allowed to check in until 20 minutes before their tee time. I accepted that, except that it seemed rather rude while I and another Golf Now player (I didn’t know) were quietly waiting in the pro shop and everyone except us were checked in and given carts even though their tee times were much later than ours. Then, no one else around, we stood close by and waited for the clock to advance so that we could get checked in. As I mentioned we didn’t get our carts until the last minute before teeing off - the GPS on my cart malfunctioned and it would not move from the first tee. Nothing terribly bad but not your warm welcome fuzzy feeling for playing their course. We teed off number one at least 15 minutes later than our scheduled tee time. Play was extremely slow. While on number 15 green, the sprinklers came on, and then again on #16 green.. I also had read about that happening in a golf now review. There are ways to schedule sprinkling so that no one gets wet. Not rocket science.
As nice and fun of a layout as it is, I won’t play there again. It doesn’t have to be that way, or if they don’t like Golf Now players then don’t allow them to have tee times.

The course was crowded but play moved along at a 4 1/2 hr pace. Greens were mostly flat but ran true and fairly fast. Holes varied from dog legs left and right, carries over water and sand traps, some not visible from the tees, so you need to ask for a guide if playing it for the first time. It was soft when we played so no roll on drives but the greens held very well. I will play this course again.
