Great round - I paid for 9 holes and started on the back. Made my first hole-in-one on #10! Pace of play was fine - I was with my toddler and his mother so we were pretty slow, but we let a group pass us and I was able to finish 9 holes before sundown.

It's been fantastic what they've done with this course over the past few years. The grounds are kept really well, greens are great, and they've done serious work to make sure the water features look great and that the course drains well. This is one of those courses you want to keep as a secret, seeing how great the value is these days!

Busy day on the course as it was one of the last nice days of the fall. Pace was still good though, and course looked quite nice. Great little end to the season!

Played a nice Sunday morning round. Good pace, course was looking okay (greens weren't punched like the last time out here), and even though the water features were pretty dried up (we've been without rain here for a good while), it was still pretty green and inviting. Wrapped up right before the much-needed rain came down, too!

Probably wouldn't have planned to play there had we known the greens were punched so badly. Putting was a nightmare, on a course that, to its credit, usually has pretty nice greens (even when the rest of the course - tee boxes and fairways - is in rough shape)

I play here often, and this year may be the best in a while. Water features are filled in, tee boxes have grass (!), and the course is just as interesting as ever. Remains a great value for the money.

This is now my "local track," as it were, and it's gotten better every time I've been there (lots of good rain this season has helped for sure). There's definitely still issues with some nearly unplayable tee boxes (#17 in particular, the white tees are on a slope?!), but the fairways are looking better, the greens are always solid, and you can tell they've actually put in some effort of late on some of the water features and even a set of stone block stairs on #5. I'll keep coming back as long as the price stays at a level that reflects the value.

Played here twice the past week, rained out on the back 9 both times, though. This review is about the first of those two games (the second I went solo and ripped through the course as fast as possible until the weather got too stormy and I left after my tee shot on 15).

The first game we played, I paid online ahead of time. I went to the pro shop just to tell them we were checking in. The woman there said "you have to come in." Not wanting to wear a mask, and having already paid, I told her as much, and she waved us on.

The course looks a lot better these days. Fairways are generally good, greens are quite good, and while the tee boxes are still generally pretty awful, there's at least some decent spots to still tee up from.

However, the weather took a turn for the nasty as we took a turn to the back 9. We teed off on 10, and then by the time we walked 100 yards towards our shots, the sky just opened up on us, and thunder was heard all around. We took our time hiding out in the woods, checking the radar and trying to stay as dry as possible. We called it about 10 minutes later, grabbed our shots and went to grab a raincheque.

The same woman was still there. We opened the door and she said "we're closed!" After we said we wanted a raincheque, she said, even more sternly "I saw you guys finish #10, you can't get a raincheque after that." Not knowing the policy, but knowing for sure we hadn't finished the hole, we told her as much - "we only teed off, and we spent the rest of the time deciding if we should keep playing through."

This STILL wasn't enough for her, as she tried a third time to dissuade us: "Well you know, it's the same price anyways for 9 holes." At this point, and still now, I have no idea what she meant; regardless of how much it is, a raincheque is a raincheque, and we got rained out pretty badly. She finally wrote it out for us and we walked back to the car - wet, annoyed, and regretting missing out on the back.9 on what was otherwise a very nice evening for golf.

Overall, course conditions are getting better, but somehow the staff made our trip a bit worse. Luckily a nice young man was in the shop on the weekend and was very friendly and accommodating. Certain other staff should take a hint from that fellow.

I shouldn't complain, because I keep playing here (it's close and it's cheap), but clearly nobody cares much about maintaining this course in any kind of good shape. The teeboxes are still non-existent dirt patches, the fairways are full of weeds and grass long enough to lose your ball in, and many of the water features still don't have any, you know, water. Only the greens are redeeming at this place, and of course the cheap green fees. Oh and since not many folks seem to play here, you won't have to deal with many others on the course, which has its benefits.

Played here because we couldn’t find another tee time Sunday, and it’s a decent value at $30 for 18 holes. The course is in much better shape than earlier in the summer, water features are filling back in, but the tee boxes are non-existent (just dirt and mud), which was our biggest disappointment. Greens are in great condition, fairways need work, and pace of play was a bit slow at the start (though obviously not the course’s fault). Range is closed for some reason, and didn’t see anywhere to practice putting either. But again, it’s cheap and it’s a pretty area to get a round in.

The course was extremely dry, like, yellow grass and a lot of dirt on the fairways. Ponds were drained. Greens were passable, but mind you this is all in the midst of a drought basically on the Gatineau side, so it seems they're doing the best they can.
