All I can say is you tee off and then end up waiting on every hole from #3 on. it got so bad that 3 groups were on #7 the par 3. We decided to go #12 where it was wide open. I spoke to marshall several times he said a 2 some was holding everyone up. Oh well course is great just need to regulate pace of play.

Really frustrating when the group in front is completely behind. When you have a hole wide open in front of them and 3 groups on a hole you have slow play.

Usually, there are marshalls, not yesterday. Love the course but that was unacceptable.

Love this course the greens were perfect. The rough and tee boxes didn't match the quality of the greens. most of the tee boxes were trash either not mowed or divots and clumps of grass. The rough around the greens and in the fairway needs immediate attention. it's way overgrown and it wasn't wet at all, so it should be mowed.
I still love the course I hope next time the conditions are better.

I love this course because the greens are incredible. Well not today they were punched and sanded which was not noted on Golf Now north by anyone in the pro shop. What a disappointment.

They day I decided to play happened to be on the warm side with real feel temp around 103. Aside from that the course was incredible. The greens were speedy, but not tough to read. Fairways were good and the rough made you pay. All the traps, which I saw plenty of were perfect. That's what you get 2 months after the Houston Open. This is one of my favorite courses in Houston and for that rate you gotta play.

With all due respect to the course, the conditions were not good at all. They neglected to tell me that the greens were sanded and boy were they sanded. It felt like putting on the beach. The rough was very thick, possibly setting course up for US Open? I have played there many teams and the conditions were the worst I have seen out there. Maybe that is why it was under $50 to play the South course.

Oh Well...

This course is much tougher than it appears. Each 9 have what I call 'amen corners'. Number 6-8 on the front and the last three on the back are killers.

Number 16 is the most beautiful and absolute monster par 4. I am not sure how anyone can reach in 2. The greens are very true which makes getting on them in regulation a great chance at birdie.

The course has seen some good improvements with the removal of lots of overgrowth. Greens were is great shape except for 2. Unfortunately the sand traps were not good at all as most of the sand was washed out or flattened from recent flooding. All in all for $22 on a Tuesday we a steal.
