Home construction affects course & only 17 holes

Ive played this course a few years a go and thought it was a nice course.... how time has changed this course. Ive avoided this course because other courses around it have been $20 cheaper. But I found a hotdeal so I booked it. Boy was I happy not to pay retail price. Course is in terrible condition and for a 4pm tee time we still did have to wait a few minutes at tee boxes. Greens are really slow because they havent been maintained. Tee boxes are i bad shape and so are fairways. I think because its a country club my expectations are higher but then again compared to surrounding courses its still bad. The club house is dead but I admit the guy on shift was cool, good customer service.

So if youre gonna pay the $40-$60 they typically charge, just know its the worth it.

According to a guy who golfed with us, he stated that the course has had 3 different owners in a short period. He claims that perhaps this is the reason for the course issues.

By the way there is construction going on, supposedly they are building new homes. I didnt notice it but because of this, they have closed a hole down so youre only playing 17 holes. This didnt bother since I paid a cheap rate but guest arent getting a break so be warmed.

Well maintained course, kindly staff, but please dont cut my round short

I really loved your golf course and your digital score cards on the golf carts. I enjoyed how well maintained the course is and how peaceful it feels. With all this being said, there was something I really did not appreciate. In the process of finishing our 4th hole, we were stopped and told that the gate was being closed for the 5th hole and we would not be able to cross the street. I understand it was a late tee time and although the gentlemen who approached us was kind, it felt like our round was basically being ended with in good lighting. And seriously, only 4 holes? With it being our first time, we were disoriented in getting around the course so we just jumped to the next free hole. After spending a few minutes trying to figure this out, we just then went to the 13th hole. Now, I'm on the process of booking another round in the AM but it did leave me with a bitter taste. I'll admit though, I'm hesitant in booking a tee time here when I can easily book a round at Mountain Meadows or Marshall Canyon who have previously let me played my rounds in low lighting. I understand its a stretch playing during sunset, but this is what defines that final stretch in customer service satisfaction.

Descent

I''ve been going to this course for the pass year and I believe this is like my 10th visit. There isn't much wait time, golfers seem to be in pretty good pace. With that being said, the tee boxes need work as it seems you're playing off the rough. Greens need to be better maintained but I do acknowledge that there has to be better etiquette from golfers, fix your ball mark. The one major complaint I have about this course, is their customer service. The golf shop employees are rude & have talk to customers with a demeanor tone. Over the phone they come off as arrogant and in person there they come off as too cocky.
