A course in decline

This course has really gone downhill in the last couple of years. I paid $33 for this round and in the past I would have been thrilled and thought that I got a great deal. This time it was just average. The course is beat up, there isn't any sand in the bunkers and a lot of rocks in some of the bunkers. It just needs some work. I have always like the layout of the course and the challenge.

Always Good

I have played this course a handful of times. It is always in good shape though the greens were rolling a little slower than when I have played in the past. Despite being a busy Friday, the pace of play was good. Aside from the girl at the bag drop, the staff could be a little friendlier.

A tad overrated

This course seems to be all the rage since it opened several years ago, but I failed to see what all the fuss is about. This course excels with the facilities. The clubhouse and driving range is first class. The course itself, however, was nothing memorable. The greens were pretty beat up and the layout doesn't offer anything special. I feel the value for the money spent wasn't there.

Pretty Good course

I played this course on Labor Day Monday. I thought it would be a super slow round, but we maintained a decent pace considering it was back to back foursomes. We were able to to get around in four and a half hours. I prefer to play faster, but considering the circumstances, it wasn't bad. As for the course itself, it is kept up well, and the greens were in good shape despite the fact that there is always that segment that doesn't like to repair their ball marks. The staff is where this course has an opportunity. When I checked in, the guy at the counter said as few words to me as he had to, and the starter was the same way. Also, there was a certain lack of basic etiquette that was lacking with both the starter and the woman driving the beverage cart. The starter was telling us to tee off when the group in front of us was well within our hitting distance. These were minor things that didn't affect the overall experience. I would recommend this course to someone who hasn't played it.

Good Deal for Good Course

I have always enjoyed this course. I think that it is a good layout. The pace of play was slow because of the group of guys that I was paired up with.
