My only suggestion would be to mow the fairways a little shorter. The grass looked lush and thick. But at places the fairways played more like the first cut at Harding Park or The Presidio in San Francisco; this resulted minimum roll after balls landed in the fairways.

The greens were totally unacceptable. The problem was not due to slow recovery from areation . It is months of no maintenance and no
Watering. Skip this course at all costs.

The once magnificent championship complex had been reduced to a housing complex. Set between fairways. The course condition was miserable due to the housing construction ? It was like playing course in a construction zone. This was the same for both courses which we played on consecutive days. I doubt if we will be back anytime soon. Such a shame. It would not surprise me some day the courses will be turned down to put more track-like homes. More profitable May be?

This could be a very challenging and fun course if there is any kind of maintenance work applied. As it is the course is a ‘dog track’. Very unfortunate.

These were large holes. The greens were punched likely no more than a couple of days. This rendered 1/2?of the game was missing, ie no putting game. There were no warnings when booking the tee time. We definitely would not have played here had we known about the greens conditions.

We played on April 18 and April 20, a match among 4 players. Secured tee time online via Golfnow. At check in the staff declined the confirmation with Golfnow and confirmed discounted rates. Claimed GolfNow should not have access to their inventory supposedly for the past 3 weeks. Net, we paid the rack rates. This had never happened once in the 20+ years and thousands of rounds I had played using GolfNow. The worst part was how the staff delivered the message. They were rude, painted GolfNow as the bad guys. Totally unbelievably bad experience. I will never go back to this course, nor would I recommend it to anyone I know. Avoid at all cost. To top it off, it was a 5 1/2 hour round. Brutal.

This course is not for any golfer looking to enjoy a round of golf. The course looked like a pasture, tall grass with many unmowned areas. The pace of play was totally unacceptable with lots of older men who seemed to have just started playing golf. The players meander around as though they want to spend the entire day out there, which they did as well as everyone who are playing behind these types of ‘non-players’. Over 20 minutes per hole resulted in a 6-hour round on a weekday! Imagine how long a weekend round would take?

A nightmare.

The bad condition did not seem to result from lack of water, but definitely poor maintenance. My shoes were caked with mud, but the course was either bone dry, overgrown from non mowing, or muddy. The course looked like a third rate muni. Lone tree uwsed to be a nice course, not anymore. I wonder who would want to hold an event like a wedding there? We will not be back.

This is the most beautifully layout and manicured course we had ever played. This from golfers who had played golf courses in Scotland, Ireland, Spain, Australia etc etc. a Must Played for any serious golfers. For that not so serious golfer, enjoy the ambiance!

The Ridge is a beautiful and interesting course with the right amount of challenges. The course is fair, rewards good shots, and not so much if you hit poor ones. I look forward to the next round at The Ridge

We have always enjoyed the course whenever we are in the desert.

A very nice course that requires good shots. A good track for most golfers except beginners.

Love this track. Challenging holes, beautiful setting with the fabulous rock formation as backdrops. You better be straight, or bring lots of balls. For the consistent and advance players, a wonderful course, not so much if you are a hacker.

Of the 3 9's, only Stonehead is above average. The Creek and Oak are Plain Jane flat country type of holes.

Quite a gem in the LA area. Well-conditioned with the right amount of challenges.

A very nice Military course similar to a number other military courses I had played on Oahu, like the Klipper at Kaneohe or the Navy Marine Course by the airport.

This is a nice course. What is needed is better course marshaling to keep the pace reasonable. Many players here do not seem to know what a divot repair tool is for; huge divots on the nice greens abound.

A combination of wide open as well as extremely narrow/tree-lined holes. Good variety of different looks for the 18 holes.

Wonderful layout, great views, great condition, one of the best and we play all over the world on top named courses; Scotland, Spain, New Zealand, Australia.
