The course is in great shape for Sept. The service was also great. The only thing I didnt like was it was toooo wide open. Great for fast play but reduces the challenge even for a high handicapper like me. Im going to try Firecliff next. All things aside it is a must play course!

The legend just got punched. I played the Resort which was punched 3 weeks or so ago. Resort greens are not healed at all. The fairways are getting thin. I got a good deal in GN but it dont matter if your chip bounces 90 degrees left and right or stops. The course is in September condition. I like this course but not right now. Staff is friendly.

I really like the Resort course but I cant play there anymore. Twice I needed the bathroom on the course and twice I had to race to the clubhouse. I thought it was just a mistake the first time. If the reason for locking the bathrooms is because of homeless people then there should have been a key to open it somewhere in the cart. I was never told of a key. Very disappointing and completely disruptive.

There was 4 groups on the course. No 4 somes in front of us. We waited a minimum of 10 to 15 mins on every sbot. I asked the martial who was holding us up. He said no one????

It was a windy day so that is a factor but I think the greens are wy too fast for average golfer. They were inconsistant too. However, they responded well and were the best part of the course. The front 9 is a goat ranch. The back 9 was better. Fairways were better but not great. The scenery was better too. The layout has potential but would need a lot of work. I found the staff to be very friendly. The only time I seen the cart girl was when I checked in. Management put back to back tournaments on a Saturday??? Sloooow! If they slowed the greens down a little they would get more play. Will I play this course again. No

I played the Legend. It use to be a pretty good course. Now, not so much. Sand is terrible. Fairways are bad. They really need to go with cart path only when the ground is wet. They also need a ranger to enforce it. The fairways are not clearly defined either. The rough is unhittable in many cases. Besides the thick grass your ball usually has ground in front of it and behind it. The greens for the most part was the only saving grace. They were good. What happened to this course???

This is a nice course but pace was too slow due to no ranger. Cart girl quit at 1:30. Hmmmm...just when its the hottest and when refreshments would be wanted the most. Bad management decisions. GolfNow price was good but not if you dont enjoy the round.

Greens are good. Fairways need a little tlc in areas. T boxes need to be moved on some holes. Its a good course to work out your kinks.

The course starts with a big tree blocking out golfers that cut or slice their ball. I figure that is about 80% of the golfers. Its also what I would consider a blind shot. Not a very good way to start someones round. The first 3 holes are in a wash so those kinds of holes are usually not as well manicured. These were no exception. You couldnt easily identify the fairway. The greens I liked through the 5 holes I played before I quit. 2 hours seemed like a lot of time to play 5 holes on a summer afternoon with an almost empty parking lot. The staff was very nice. The course does look better than it has in the past. I read other reviews about the pace of play at this course. I should have stayed away. Without a marshall this course is not a good value at any price. With a Marshall its a $50 course during the season.

I love these courses. However, the cart drink prices are way too high. I stopped buying drinks for that reason. The last time I played there before this time was a 5 hr round. I thought, ok, a bad day for somebody up ahead. However, this time I quit after 4 hours and finishing only 13 holes. The cart guy tried to save me by explaing how many people played that day. He also offered to try and get me a free round. I thought, wait a minute, they knew how busy it was and didnt put a marshall out to keep things moving??? Bad management. 6 hr rounds dont happen in March much less than Sept. See ya. Its too bad. I really loved the courses.

Everything was perfect until I ordered a beer and a bottle of water. 3.00 for the water and 9.00 for the Corona. With a 3.00 tip thats 15.00 for two bevarages. WATER SHOULD BE 2.00 AND THE CORONA SHOULD HAVE BEEN 6.00. Ill play golf there but I wont buy anything there. Besides this is September. Not March???

The course is as nice as it gets but there wasnt a bathroom available to use. In my book thats a deal breaker. Ill check to see if it was just a temporary thing the next time I play. One other thing they should do is rope off, erect a sign or plant a bush in front of the walkway as you exit hole 18. I almost tripped and fell because I didnt see the cement walkway protrusion. Very dangerous. Make no mistake though. This is a very nice executive course.

Greens good. Challenging yes. Friendly and efficient staff, yes. Course condition, goat ranch.

I thought it was a little to wide open but very nice. The sand was a little iffy.

The course was in good shape. The sand was a little too heavy. All in all I enjoyed the course and I think I will go back. However, a nice day ended with Kurt the cart person taking my cart before I had all my belongings out of the cart. After going all the way back to the cart barn I found out he took my phone, glasses, and keys out and put them on top of a valet desk without telling me. My personal items were exposed for everyone to see and take if they so desired
The only reason my wallet wasnt in the cart was because I gave him a 4.00 tip. The worst part was he took my cart when there were 2 other carts that also needed to go. The rule is simple. Check the cart before you take it. If there are personal items in the cart leave them alone and have the guest remove them. The worst part was the big fake smile he gave me when I was leaving. It was a smart alec type of smile. That smile might keep me from going back.

The course was basically in very good shape however, there was a hole with no sign directing us to the next hole. We guessed the wrong way. We could not find water until the end of the 9th hole........so we thought. Wrong! The ice machine worked but the water fountain did not. No water is a deal breaker!!!, The bathroom was clean but emitted a nasty smell. The server we met sent us 300 yards to a bar that wasnt even open. She should have said...the bar, is over there but you can get beer and wine here. She should have known the bar hours.

I have been looking forward to playing this course for years. I also had not played golf for a couple months so you can imagine how excited I was about playing golf on this day. I booked myself with a 3some on a golf now hot deal so I would have someone to play with. I was 15 minutes early. Hit a few putts, chips and balls. Then I went to the tee to find out one player didnt show. Then I found out they let the other 2some go out much earlier without me. So, there I was. Standing on the tee with no one to play with....and I mean no one. I picked up my clubs and left. I will never play there again. They got my 25.00 but they lost me doing it. Needless to say I will never say a positive thing about this course ever.

How can management allow anyone to go out early without all parties present? Its unprofessional, insensitive, irresposible and just plain rude. If I wanted to play alone I would not have booked myself with other players.

The Resort course was always the flagship of the 2 courses. It wasnt in terrible shape but it was pretty rough in areas. I was surprised. Ill wait a couple months and then give it another try.

I played this course a couple years back. At the time it was a goat ranch. I dont remember but there could have been a serious water restriction at the time. I wasnt going back until I seen the reviews. Wow, what a change for the better. Fairways are good, greens are good and just the right speed. A couple are dangerous if you land your ball in the wrong place. Bathrooms were clean. I played there two days in a row. Dont get me wrong. Its not a long or premier course. However, this is a great target course. As long as they keep there prices in line for what it is.....everyone should try it at least once.

I took off work to go play this course. I got my greens fee cheap but it was still a waste of money. The course itself is in decent shape. However, there wasn't one marker for 100, 150 or 200 yards. I didn't have a range finder because I normally don't need one. My skill level is not such that I need to know exact yards. However, there is enough trouble on the course that having some kind of yardage marker is imperative. For example on #3 you have to decide if you want to try and carry the bunker in the middle of the fairway or drive to the right of it. However, you don't know what club to use if you drive to the right of the bunker because out of bounds comes into play. Needless to say I drove through the fairway and out of bounds. I should have used a 3 wood. With no markers for yardage its impossible to know what club to use on your approach/layup shots. I quit playing after nine holes because it just plain wasn't any fun at all.

I don't pay to play golf just so I can go on a search and rescue mission to find out what my yardage is. I wouldn't play this course for free if they offered it to me. Too bad. I somewhat liked the layout.
