Wigwam Resort - Blue Course
Played On 01/16/2021Course was in great shape. Bunkers had a lot of sand in them. Only issue was the length of time round. Frost delay? Full tee sheet. For $100.00 i want to finish during day light.
Union Hills Golf & Country Club
Played On 09/14/2019Greens a little long but rolled true and held an approach shot. 4 some played in under 3 1/2" hour. I wasn't in bunker but others in my group were and they weren't consistent. Some sand others hard pan. Average Phoenix course.
Hillcrest Golf Club at Sun City West
Played On 10/20/2018Just a little investment please
Course has a great layout. Course is looking good for just finishing over seeding. Greens slow and needed to roller. Bunkers are pretty hard but still playable. Fairways were in good shape and so were tee boxes. Still good value for the money.
Palmbrook Golf Club
Played On 11/26/2017Great condition
A friend and I wanted to get a quick round in before the sun want down. We just finished in time. Course was in great shape. Greens still a little slow but ran true as always. The staff is always nice even the guy that was waiting on the last cart (ours) was pleasant about us keeping him late.

Hillcrest Golf Club at Sun City West
Played On 10/07/2017great time
2nd day open after overseeting. Greens were long but course was in great shape. They still haven't done anything with the cart paths after tearing them out...a year ago? Most of the bunkers had good sand in them. Having played here a lot in the past I didn't expect much but we were pleasantly surprised.
Ahwatukee Country Club
Played On 10/01/2016not in good shape
Where do you start...no sand in traps not much grass on. Holes must have been cut a week ago
Hi "newcre8" We appreciate your honest feedback as we are constantly looking to improve overall course conditions. We appreciate your patience during our transition period and hope to see you again in the near future.
Great Eagle Golf Club
Played On 07/26/2015first and last time
Where to start..gentleman at the counter did a good job guy getting carts out was late (apparently this is normal. So why does he still work there?) Teed off early, sprinklers still on for the first green. At least the slooow greens has grass on them which is more than I can say for the fairways. The greens keeper did finally get out to cut the greens by the time I got to the 9th. Bunkers were as easy to play out of as the fairway as they were dirt also. I didn't rate food and beverage as I don't honestly know if they have any. I understand this was the only bent grass green in the west valley at one time. What a shame. Could be a nice course.
Coldwater Golf Club
Played On 03/29/2015good value
Course was in good shape. Greens were faster than appeared. It took a few holes to figure green speed but they were consistent through all 18. Look for the owls if you play here.
Copper Canyon Golf Club - Vista/Lake Course
Played On 03/28/2015another well maintained Troon property
First time I have played Copper Canyon and I was not disappointed. I was looking for a quality round of golf with good customer service and an acceptable pace of play. That is exactly what we got. Copper Canyon was well managed and well maintained. Staff was great from the bag drop to the ranger keeping the pace of play on time. Greens, fairways, and tee boxes were all consistent. Thank you for a nice round of golf.
Villa de Paz Golf Course
Played On 10/19/2014good for the time of year
Greens very slow but course in good shape for the time of the year.
Corte Bella Golf Club
Played On 08/09/2014nice course as always
Fairways a little dry and a couple of weeks since greens were punched but be realistic beginning of August in phoenix what would you expect. Other than that course was in good shape and staff was friendly as always.
Lookout Mountain Golf Club
Played On 07/06/2014a good time
Staff was professional and provided good service. I am glad I showed up in time to utilize the driving range and putting greens. Greens are fast but pin placements for the most part were fair. If you play smart and manage the course you can score well. Some of the fairways were a little patchy (it is Phoenix in July). Views from the tee boxes on the back nine are amazing. You might want to bring a couple of extra balls just to try to hit the green on the 14th from the tee box. I really enjoyed it and I'll be back.
Grand Canyon University Golf Course
Played On 10/13/2013Fun. Isn't it supposed to be?
I played this course for the first time this last weekend with two friends. It had just been over seeded and the course was in great shape. The front nine greens were very slow due to the long cut but the back nine were better. Sand traps were actually sand unlike a lot of Phoenix traps. Stay in the fairways if you want to score low. All and all I would recommend this course. Not the most challenging course but a enjoyable experience.

Thank you for taking the time to fill out the online comment card. We appreciate you coming out to play the course knowing that we were fresh out of overseed. We have now been open 2 weeks and things are in great shape. We hope to see you back soon!
