Morgan Hill Golf Course
Played On 06/12/2016Father's Day Round
This was the first time I've ever had any issues with pace of play here.
Usually we drive from Philly and play in three hours, have lunch and play 18 more.
Fantastic condition as always. Challenging, I highly recommend asking for tee box suggestions based on handicaps.
Turtle Creek Golf Club
Played On 04/01/2016Always worth the trip
Turtle Creek will likely not blow you away. It is just a very solid, well kept golf course. There's nothing I hate more than driving a long ways to get to a round and being disappointed by conditions or a boring golf course. Turtle Creek is always very well maintained and is a fun , but forgiving, course.
Good for all levels of golfer.
White Clay Creek Country Club at Delaware Park
Played On 03/17/2016As always, a good experience
You can always count on the conditions being well above average here. Early in the season, so limited amenities , but that's to be expected. In season they are very responsive to needs .
Neshanic Valley Golf Course - Meadow/Lake Course
Played On 03/16/2016Definitely worth the Drive!
Three very good to great 9's.
Not too much deception, pretty straight forward.
Restaurant was closed on a 60 degree Wednesday , which was surprising for March.
Heron Glen Golf Course
Played On 03/09/2016Wow, I was really surprised at how great this was.
If you live in South/Central NJ, I highly recommend this golf course.
Very playable for all levels of golfers. I play as a 3 hdcp, and played with a 12 and a 21 hdcp golfer and we all really enjoyed it , from three separate tee boxes.
Expect some windy conditions, but not a lot of forced carries , it was terrific.
Woodcrest Country Club
Played On 10/17/2014Terrific course but pricey
A little pricey-$80- but a fun layout and terrific conditions!
Linfield National Golf Club
Played On 07/15/2014Well worth the trip
Good Golf Course- Conditions were above average, given the amount of storms and rain in the few days prior to playing here. Greens were a little slow, but true for putting and receptive to shots. Tee boxes (something I obsess about) were immaculate, and fairways and bunkers were well maintained. The staff is always friendly and helpful.
Downingtown Country Club
Played On 07/14/2014This place has slipped
Downingtown used to be one of my favorite golf courses. I arrived and there was no starter. I had to find a cart to take out, and ended up having to clean someone's used cart out. Because there was no starter, the group I was supposed to be paired up with went out as a threesome ahead of a twosome, who declined to let me play with them. Thankfully, thunder started and the twosome left, and I skipped a hole to pass the threesome. The greens were somewhat slow, and were peppered with ballmarks. Perhaps because they overcharge for them in the pro shop, but I digress..... The course is somewhat short , but ALOT of fun to play. Bunkers were bare and muddy, but with the abundance of rain, that can be forgiven. Overall, I would suggest not trying to get out here for a quick round, or within a day of a heavy rain. Still a good track, but nothing like it's past glory.
Lederach Golf Club
Played On 05/02/2014Good solid golf course
This is a very good golf course. Greens are tricky, but fair. Very playable but challenging enough for a high single digit handicapper and low double digit handicapper.
Awesome! Thanks so much for playing at White Clay Creek CC, we are happy to hear you got to play so early in the seasons. We hope to see you again this season.
