This staff takes great care of this course !!!!! Staff was great. This is the HIGHEST rating I have ever given on this site.

We had a 2pm tee time. They allowed a 5 some in front of us. They slowed everyone down. To make it worse.... the 2 cart girls (dressed in Haloween clothes) stood there and spoke to this big group 2 slow them down even more. We called the club house and a VERY young kid tried to help. Never a good idea for a teenager to be forced to deal with drunks !!!!
The cart girl tried to apologize to me and give me a free drink. what? You ruined my 100.00 round and you think 1 drink will make it better? I asked for a manager to call me, but that didn't happen.
WASTE OF STAFF AND MANAGEMENT.

This course is gorgeous and in really good condition!!!

I hope every female golfer reads this review!!! The grounds keepers that were driving around in their trucks b/c the whole course is in terrible shape dismisses me. I was paired with 3 men. On the first issue… a par 5 …. A truck drove right into the fairway and sat while we were ALL about to hit. He didn’t move and didn’t turn his red tractor off.
The bigger issue were two other holes. We were on a par 3 and the keeper let my partners tee off . Then he started his engine and started before I hit my tee shot. I looked at him and he ignored me. Then I stared at him and he still ignored me. It happened later to me ONLY again. The lack of respect ruined the round for me and I will never go back. The management was not around for me to have a conversation about the issue.. women… don’t allow this behavior!!! Stay Respected

Some of the staff is not wearing masks. They made me golf in a cart with someone w/I mandating a mask. The guy had an attitude when I asked about it. Amazing how people don care about others during these times. Worth making me share a cart at the risk of knowing I won’t come back apparently. Too bad, cuz the course is real nice.

Only front 9 was open. There really should be a red flag on Golf Now before booking. For this reason alone I not go back.

Course layout is good.. course I’m REALLY bad shape. They said they have good food but it was dry and “ cafeteria like”. Course was in real good shape years and years ago . Sad to see it like this !!!

BATHROOMS DISGUSTING (pic). Best thing about this course was the female bartender. ALL ELSE FAILED EXPECTATIONS!!!!

I could not get my tees in the ground. There were no fairway.... the whole area was round or really rough. You can tell they allow folks to just play all they can. The cart paths were non-existent and in the few areas there actually was a cart path it was extremely bumpy. No lie, the worst golf course condition-wise I have EBER seen.

The friendliness of the staff makes this course great for the price. You are greeted with a cart when you park. The staff in the clubhouse is great. The course itself is in so so shape, but I will say that compared to other courses for the same amount of money you aren’t going to get better.

They have signs saying wear a mask but don’t make customers wear them in the clubhouse. I asked them about following the guidelines and they said they did not enforce them, cuz it is merely a recommendation. The course was backed up and no starter helped the pace of play. Clearly they over book in order to get their money.

The course is well managed. There are some holes under repair, but they have created new holes in their place. The staff is friendly, and the regulars Were very nice. The greens are very challenging .

This course is 800-1000 yards longer then most courses I have played. But it is a great course with great staff and an even greater course layout!!! I will be back for sure.

THEY DO NOT PRACTICE SAFE METHODS!!! They have the proper signs, when I walked in 2 check in the staff AND THE OTHER LOCALS in the club house had NO masked on!!! They do have the proper signs, on the doors, but they DO NOT have masks on !!!!! There were 2 staff members in the club house and 5 (LOCAL) golfers. NONE OF THEM HAD A MASK!!!! This course CLEARLY IS RELAXED WHEN IT COMES TO COVID!!!!! They did not have sanitizer in the pro shop, unlike EVEEY OTHER NJ course I have been 2. I would NEVER go back before a vaccine b/c of this. The golf cart was NOT cleaned (pic attached). I asked about it and the “starter” said ... “I am the only one who touched it. HE WAS NOT WEARING A MASK EITHER !!!! Listen.... the layout of this course is the best I have seen within 50 miles!!!! So if you don’t care about safety play here!!!! I care about my family so I can not play here again till There is a vaccine. BUT the layout and the staff make this course hands down better then anywhere n the area!!!!! It really is sad that a good course has folks 2 relaxed!!!

They have allowed tee times way too close together. When I arrived there were 5 groups behind. The employees were nice, but no one was speeding folks up. The course way way overpriced. So much so that I thought I was golfing 18 holes. This is a 9 hole course for the same rate as many 18 hole courses within 15 miles. The port a potty was NOT cleaned. Picture attached.

The Third, fourth, and fifth hole on the Valleyview Course needed up the whole round for everyone involved. There is a residential home on the 4th hole that played music so incredibly loud you could hear it for 3 holes (including the tees and greens). I will upload 2 videos for golfers to experience what I did. The women’s tees are not taken care of which means they are very hilly with mounds of dirt. No way to get flat lie to stand and hit. The staff is incredibly friendly!!!! That , and the look around the clubhouse area was the best part about the course. If anyone plays make sure you skip the Valleyview 9 and you will be pleased. Ok it only let me upload one video -:(
But you will understand my frustration.

This course is in the best condition of any course in the area that costs less then 50.00. I have nothing negative to say about the course conditions itself. However, I will say that the staff (with the exception of the daytime starter on the east course) is a bit abrasive. Not friendly at all, but not unfriendly either. So, good or bad you will have to decide for yourself. They are all older white males and they are who they are. I go there PREDOMINATELY for the shape of the course. Also, I golfed on a Friday and there was live music on their patio. They took the temperature of folks as they went in, but after that people were drinking and not being safe at all. As I am aware people can have COVID without having a temperature, that is a disaster waiting to happen.

There were multiple groups holding up everyone. I tried calling the club house to send a ranger out but it had a busy signal. There were some staff members driving around but they did not address the issues. On two holes a complete sprinkler was on so I could not hit off the tee box. I do not recommend amateurs playing here because there were a lot of tight holes and trees. Not worth the money at all.
