You know you’re going to be a 4:45- 5 hr round but you’re hopeful. Not playing at all was getting old but thats what $50 gets you in FL in Feb. A marshall or started would help . (1pm tee time GN single)
Most greens had been amply/over sanded, I was in one green side bunker that had more foot prints in it than the actual beach. Plenty on rakes, just another indications who’s playing this Municipal Course.

Always enjoy playing here this time of year. Nice midiron & wedge track.. 3w on a few holes. Some construction near pro shop but staff is ALWAYS friendly and keep things moving. Come Jan-Mar you do not want to be there. Horrible pace of play and close proximity of greens to tee boxes (some too close for comfort) Very enjoyable now.

Fairways & greens are in great shape. Tee boxes are patches of dirt which doesn’t seem in line with everything else. This is sister course of the Manatee Co track on 53rd. I’ve played both and this is the better of the two by far. Both courses are in need of cart upgrades soon.
Neither course have more than a hotdog stand & a checkin desk which is fine with me. 4 hrs in & out.

Executive track. Tee boxes are nicer that most fairways of public courses in a 1 hr circle of Bradenton/Sarasota. Pace always a issue but what are ya gonna do.

The perfect tee boxes were what a normal fairway would be cut to at a really nice track. The fairways were wide, very scorable course not much in the way of hazards. The strange thing was they were cut pool table felt height. Greens cut even closer.
Pace of play, Noon tee time 5:05 finish.

I should have trusted the reviews. The greens have been improved but this is a true Hackers Delight! Some of the holes need completely redesigned. I’ve never given a course a 1 star rating.

Very enjoyable day even thought we basically didn’t putt out. Recently aerated green made that not a option.

I think I used my driver on #1 that’s it. Fairly tight track. I’d walk next time due to pace of play this time of year. The course was in great shape. Tee boxes,fairways & greens are comparable to courses charging twice as much. Full staff & ranger once again make it seem like a $$$ club. Tiki bar on site if you like a 19th hole.

I’m traveling and attempted to get on the South course. Plan B as most tracks are booked.
The par 3 is getting hammered . Folks lined up to play. Mats are in bad shape so the surrounding turf is non existent . No one is repairing pitch marks. The “fairways” are actually nice and the greens are undulating, quick and mostly domed. This place could be

My new favorite course (public) in KY. Zoysia fairways dormant this time of year but still very playable. Greens were outstanding, subtle contours. Fairway traps on most holes. Standing on Tee box you'll be looking at some really beautiful tracks. Course is un walkable in my mind. The cart paths are concrete and in great shape. Yamaha cart had a USB port and cooler. Really nice looking practice area with well marked yardages.

Greens were in good shape. Fast & a good test. Tight fairways for the most part. Short Course compressed in between Condos.

Use coupon only type of course. Played North track. From the 1st T you knew this was going to be a mess. The greens & green side bunkers we’re fine. Like a lot of courses this place needs a cash infusion. Probably was really nice at onetime.

1st time visitor , greens were fast and pins were challenging.
Course layout was very odd. Fairways looked like typical August. Staff friendly and 19th hole was nice. Odds & ends pro shop.

Fairways in great shape. Greens nice, The one bunker I was in had fresh sand. Comments about unfriendly staff was NOT the case today. Very friendly.
