It had been a while since playing The Eagles - Forest and decided to give it another try. I like the course, especially the back 9. Even though they can't control early am fog which significantly delayed all starts, they can control course maintenance. The greens were inconsistent and overall the course was not in great shape for the price paid. The guys behind us kept hitting into us despite our inability to play any faster due to the slow play in front of us. Never saw a ranger, who could have assisted with the pace the of play. Unfortunately, I don't think we will be back.

Course and especially greens were in very good shape. This is a great municipal course. They had new carts with bucket seats - which I like. Staff were very friendly including the starter. Busy n Saturdays but that’s to be expected.

Brooksville Country Club is a very fun course. It was in good shape with the rye grass fairways, tees and greens in good shape. The quarry holes are a real treat!

What Happened?
Brought family out to play a course that I have played many times before and WAS EMBARRASSED BY THE COURSE CONDITIONS.

We played other courses in the area and they were well kept so the can be no excuse of the weather not allowing crews out to mow.

Weeds, crabgrass and fallen limbs everywhere.

Very sad to see this. Won't go back until they get their act together.

The course was in good shape and the greens were nice. The pace of play was excellent today. However, they really need to do something about the bathrooms on the course. It's a simple thing to have clean restrooms on the course - disgusting!

Course was in very condition. We noticed they had new carts which was a nice, unexpected improvement. We enjoy playing here, especially the unique holes on the back nine. Staff are very friendly. Practice areas are in good condition too. Recommend!

Heritage Isles never disappoints! We brought family from MS to play and they loved it. Staff were friendly including the starter. This is one of our local favorites to play.

Played here many times. Staff very friendly. Great course layout, especially the back 9. Good food at the grill. One of our favs and worth the drive from Tampa.

Always a pleasure to play Heritage Isles. Course is well maintained and fun to play. Ranger is friendly, drink/snack cart is consistently timed and generally well stocked.

The more we play this course, the more we like it more. Ron Garl is one of our favorite golf course designers and this one may be our favorite.

The fairways were the best we've seen in a few months, the greens were fast and consistent, (even though we played on a Monday and they had just top dressed with light sand and water).

Hope to get back as often as we can.

Clearly this course is under repair! The layout is not the issue. The staff were friendly, although not staffed enough as there was no beverage cart and food at the turn was extremely slow even though we ordered ahead. Hoping they can bring the course back to what we played months ago.

Crooked Cat is beautiful and very well maintained. Although I must add that the bunkers had not been raked recently. Carts were in short supply due to a shotgun start that occurred earlier in the day and our cart had an issue with no replacement available, but we heard new carts are coming so that will solve that problem. The starter was great and offered us a quicker start on 10, which was fine, but we ended up behind some folks that were super slow and driving way too close to the greens of this beautiful course - such a shame when people don’t respect the course! Overall I loved this course and we will be back again!
