A tale of two nines

I haven't played here in 4 years and the only thing new is that they switched the nines.. I actually like that because the back nine is twice as good as the front. It just flows better and the look it pure golf! "Target Golf" that is..Man! you better drive the ball straight and long ( 7400+ yards from the back) but a lot of elavation so no need to hit driver on every hole like a wild man. Keep it in play or else you'll be buying more balls at the turn ha! They still have bent grass greens which is nice but they are not in the best of shape. Make the switch to bermuda greens asap Eagles Brooke and work on them bunkers! but we got a Great deal on golfnow so " I'll be back"

Hello, thank you for taking the time to review our golf course, Eagles Brooke Country Club, and for the 3-stars. We are sorry to hear that the greens may not have been in the best shape when you played, but we hope you enjoyed the course conditions as a whole. It sounds like you enjoyed the change of 9 holes and we are glad to see that you had a smooth round. Thank you for choosing to play our course, in the Atlanta area, and we look forward to seeing you again soon.

Playing "The Run" at Cherokee

Be ready for lots of elevation change and to keep the driver in the bag on most holes even from the back tee's! Accuracy off the tee is a premium when playing " the Run " and manage your game because there are a lot of blind shots if it's your first time playing the track. Good grass range and chipping area.. the putting green could be bigger but the course is a great mountain style course with no homes on it at all! Enjoy and try not to lose too many balls if you playing by the rules ha!
