Desert Dunes Golf Course
Played On 11/22/2020Beautiful course with well maintained greens
The course is set near the mountains and looks gorgeous on a sunny day. The staff was super friendly and set us up with golf carts with ice buckets. There was hardly anyone on the course so felt no pressure to play fast and could really enjoy the outdoors. The bar and food counter was open for take out and the bar cart came around ever so often with drinks and snacks. Overall a great experience and great value for money.

Played On 06/07/2020Beautiful Course
Course is beautiful, right next to a winery. A couple of tough holes for beginners but overall fun course. Expect to lose a ball or two on the first hole but it gets easier from then onwards.
Gilroy Golf Course
Played On 11/17/2019Good course for beginners
The Gilroy course is an 11-hole course where you re-play some holes to make an 18 hole round. This is a fun course with mostly wide fairways that make it easier on beginners. Since it is partially hilly there are some challenges with sloping fairways and holes that make it fun. No water hazards but a few sand bunkers make for challenging approach shots. Some of the greens could use better maintenance but for the price you can't complain.
Sunken Gardens Golf Course
Played On 10/15/2019Challenging course for beginners
The 9 hole course is a good test of hitting straight. Fairways are fairly narrow and mostly require iron control. Small hills make for interesting off-balance shots, testing capabilities. Quick course to get through.
Blackberry Farm Golf Course
Played On 09/25/2019Narrow fairways make for challenging holes
This course is great for testing iron play. Fairways are pretty narrow and tree lined and force you to be pretty straight or end up in the trees. Challenging 9 holes with a couple of drivable par-4 but mostly par-3s. Pace of play is a bit challenging with a number of beginners. The staff doesn't enforce general golf etiquette. I have been stuck behind groups of 5 people sharing golf bags, slowing the pace down. Great value for money so can't complain too much.
Blackberry Farm Golf Course
Played On 08/15/2019Good beginner course
Most people playing are beginners. Lots of trees with narrow fairways make for challenging conditions. Pace of play is inconsistent depending on who is in front of you. No water hazards and minimal sand traps. Good place to learn to hit straight.
Blackberry Farm Golf Course
Played On 06/09/2019Challenging Par-3 course
It's a pretty basic par-3 course with tight fairways and small greens. No water features and few sand traps. Hitting straight is paramount. Good fun course for beginners looking to push themselves.
