This course is one of my favorites. I’m from Virginia but always make a point to play this course when here to visit my family.

Started our round at 11 am and got in 2 holes before the rain started. Headed back to the cart barn to either wait it out or go home. Ernie, the starter, had his hands full fitting everyone in there but he was super friendly and helpful. We decided to call it and got a rain check. Later in the day after the rain stopped we called the pro shop and were told to come on out-so we were able to use the rain check a few hours later. The staff was great and the playing conditions were great considering how much rain fell in a very short time

I have never played Old South but will definitely play it again. It was cart path only-for a good reason! Some of the bunkers were flooded but many were very playable. There’s lots of water and trees which makes the course quite scenic. The layout is good. There are a few “interesting “ holes which I hope to play better next time. The staff was super. My cart stopped working on the second hole and they came out very quickly. All in all it was a very enjoyable round of golf

We were behind a group of five but there was a foursome in front of them. It was quite busy but there should have been a Ranger on the course. 3 tee boxes on the Dunes course were being redone.

This course was well maintained. My only complaint is that it was a very hot day and there are no trees on the course!

I am female and played from the red tees. The course was a little shorter than what I am used to. Not much trouble to be found on the course-very little sand or water so it was not particularly challenging for the average golfer. All in all it was a very pleasant round and I would definitely play it again. The scenery was spectacular

Had never played here before but found most of the reviews positive so decided to give it a try. Very nice course for the price.

We played at 1:00. There were a lot of golfers coming in but the staff was very organized and we got off on time. . The pace of play was fine . The course was in excellent shape and fun to play. Would definitely go back there. A little creepy having cameras in the bathroom right over the toilet

Beautiful setting and scenery. It's in the middle of nowhere. The course is hilly and it was cart path only the day we played. My only concern is that there was no water provided on the course and the temperature was in the 80s. I did not address this issue in the golf shop after we played but I really was surprised that no drinking water was provided-I guess that's why there are no bathrooms on the course. Overall a nice, fun course to play

First tome playing this course and we were very pleased. In excellent condition althythe rough was very lush-seductive lose a ball hit just a few feet off the fairway!

Nice layout. Small herd of goats in the rough between 2 holes. Never seen that before

At the pro shop, it was explained to us that the course had recently been purchased and that the previous owners had gone bankrupt. This was very evident in regards to the condition of the course, especially the greens. In my opinion the course should be closed until the needed improvements are made. We paid for 18 holes but gave up after playing 9.
