Played this morning, and finished in less than four hours, so pace of play was good. Tee boxes were a little rough, fairways in great shape, and greens excellent...rolled very fast, but were soft and held well. Pretty golf course, not spectacular, with an old clubhouse and pro shop. Nice staff...very good value for the money.

Hadn't played here for over 30 years, and will not be coming back. The golf course is in poor shape, including the greens. Not scenic at all...kind of ugly. For the money, there are many area courses in great shape, with some beautiful surroundings...Maderas, the Crossings, arrowwood, and others. Very dissappointed with La Costa.

I had actually played here some 25 years ago when it was Silversword. The course is in really nice condition...greens are fast and roll true. Tough to read though. Had a nice time...great view from the 18th tee.

Played on a Friday afternoon and it was a little slow, so we finished in the dark. Really eenjoyed the course though. Challenging but very playable, with some fairly difficult greens. Course was in very nice shape.

I had played Oak Creek a few years ago, and remembered it being in 'country club' condition, but didn't find that this time. Its in good shape, tee boxes are being re-done and on many holes back tees are not available to play. Greens were very soft, but rolled pretty well. It is a beautiful course though...especially if you love eucalyptus trees! Great clubhouse...great lunch.
