I was told to go off the back because 3 Asian female players didn’t want company in my original tee time slot. Really?
So I essentially had to book twice for the same round, even though I purchased and paid for a time. Frustrating not knowing if I would be able to slip into a front nine tee time after the back and having to introduce myself to two different groups in the same day.

Not sure why the tee box and fairway on 18 was painted green, but quirky hole.

While the course is usually in pretty good condition, this day was not one. I can appreciate the care and anticipation of the forecasted rain helping the maintain the course, so the super decided to blast each green with sand. Some were unputtable and none ran consistent. Again, all understandable, but at no point was this "spur of the moment" sanding ever listed or announced, even when checking in for the round. Had I not called after hole 1, I'm all but certain, nothing would have been said, only to be offered a $10 discount for my next round. No one else in my group were offered this $10 discount or knew about the sandy greens, but all complained about it.
Personally, I don't believe it was spur of the moment, because one, sand had to be available, two; the rain was in the forecast and three; maintenance is scheduled (not spur of the moment) for the most part.

This was my second time in 2020 and the course was like night and day. The greens were very spotty with grass and desert like mud, all but the 9th and 18th greens were so poor that when I called the shop to ask if they offered rainchecks for the poor course condition, he said yes, but pending on which hole you're on. I then ask if the website mentioned the poor conditions, he noted that they had a lot of play and little rain. Really! The front was not good, but each hole on the back, starting with 10 was continuously worse. This was a $10 course at best and I'm sure that Kempersport does not know about the conditions today. No excuse for fairways, greens and tee boxes to look like this. The grass on 17 tee box hadn't been mowed in several days. The website says Lake Presidential was ranked #2 in Maryland, not even 200!

While the course had some challenges from the tips, fairways and greens were not in good shape at all. I won’t play it again, but can see why those who do play it play ther.

Booked the time because I wanted to get in 18 holes before dark! Even called the course and asked if there was a frost delay and told straight out “No” frost delay. However, once arrived, you guessed it, a frost delay that apparently cost us about 25 minutes (which doesn’t sound like a lot, but for about 2 holes of play on a normal day. Needless to say, not being able to finish what you paid for was disappointing, even with the expected cart path only at this time of year, near 5-6 hour rounds are never fun
