Super slow

The course is in good shape and has nice design…..
BUT. Pace of place was terrible….. exactly 5 hours to play….
Never saw a Marshall…. After 9 holes I went into the pro shop to mention it. The gal at the counter knew who the problem group was . She said that they had sent them a message…. She then said they would send someone out. Never saw anyone and it never improved. I spoke to some players who play the course often and was told it’s a common problem. It appears that they run with 7 minute tee time intervals which jams up the course.

Pretty boring

27 hole course. Played the Mesquite/Acadia course. Tee boxes, fairways, bunkers in very good shape with the exception of the greens on the Mesquite 9. They are terrible. Grass is very thin, almost putting on mud.
A nice resort course if you are just going to be playing it a couple of times. Pretty boring layout but very forgiving. Most of the course funnels into the fairway so even your poor tee shots find the fairway.
For the money, there are much better courses in the area.

Rough Greens

I know the course is only one week out of overseed so can’t expect it to be in excellent condition… However while fairways and tee boxes were very good, the greens are terrible…. They are very rough and impossible to keep a ball on line. Course probably shouldn’t have opened until greens filled in better.
We used a Troon card 2 for 1 today so only cost $85 for two of us… But without that deal, wait a couple of more weeks until greens get better ..

Slow slow greens

The greens were so slow that one member of our group started chipping with a hybrid for long putts.

On the back nine we actually implemented a max 2 putt rule. That being said, the staff was great and for the cost I guess I shouldn’t expect it to be good.
It would have been nice to know in advance that they had just finished overseeding and we couldn’t drive carts on the fairway. My friend has a very bad knee and found the extra walking very tough and couldn’t play all the holes.

Nice track

The course can be tricky. You really to pick your spots on the green on approach shots. I had many shots that hit the green ,but in the wrong area. The ball would roll of the green and down to a collection area.

The only negative .... We teed off at 1pm, finished at 5pm... The was no beverage cart on course and the resturant was closed when we finished. Seems very strange , as the course was full with players. A cold beer and something to eat would been nice after the round.

Hi rogermaslen, Thank you for your feedback! The approach shots can definitely be tricky, but it sounds like you were up for the challenge! We're sorry to hear the restaurant was not open after your round. We hope to see you back on the course soon. Best, Atlantis Country Club

Nice Course

I enjoyed playing this course. You need to stay on the fairway or the rough will eat up your ball..... It was a wet/ rainy day but the greens held up well... I'd play it again...
The only thing that seemed strange, was we finished the round about 6:45pm and the clubhouse was locked up tight... The kid collecting the power carts, said he couldn't even get into the building. It would have been nice to be able to go to the washroom to clean up , then enjoy a cold beer and a bite to eat after our round.... That was very strange... ...

This day was very windy, which I now understand is quite normal at this course

The course needs attention. The fairways are very rough. You have a hard time determining where the fairway ends and the rough begins.
