Not in great condition for $100 course. Greens are bumpy with large dead spots. Fairways are lacking grass in several places.
Not many other people here. Guess they found a cheaper place in better shape,

Greens had repairs going on. Some fairways had bare spots.Tee boxes were a little beat up. I thought the course should have been in better condition for the price they want to play it.

The course was fine and tee times were spaced out pretty well for this time of year. I thought the greens were pretty hard. I never saw a divot or made one to repair. A high shot into the green generally would bounce and run off the back. But, In value for the money, it’s the best choice of a place to play right now!

If you find a deal, this is a pleasant course to play.

Several greens and tee boxes are in bad shape. We did see guys addressing the problems , but they’re late to action. I’d wait till April to see if things have improved. They’re overbooking the course to squeeze in every dollar, so don’t expect your tee time to be on time. We had 4 groups in front of us waiting to tee off at our tee time. Thus, we waited on ever tee box for the group in the fairway, who was waiting on the group on the green! Plan on a 5 hour round , even with a ranger.

The fairways were overseeded and they requested you drive in the rough and not cross over the fairways ( which are wet). While the price is right, if you’re not in good shape to walk, you might want to wait a couple of weeks to play this nice course.

You would have had to pay me to play this course 6 months ago! New fairways, greens, and sand traps and this course is really nice! Still a couple of growing in spots, but you won’t mind. Overall it’s worth playing again.

A $60-$70 course in season. Play it if you get a deal.

Greens were fine, fairways were OK, tee boxes were beat up.
Worth getting a hot deal to play.

This is the worst condition course in Florida. Ship it!

We had an 11:45 tee time but there were 3 groups that had not teed off by then. Got off at 12:15. Waited in every hole because so many people were crammed in to play without proper spacing.

Parked my just cleaned car in the parking lot left of the bag drop and close to the Pro Shop. When I got through playing the car was covered with reused water spray from the sprinkler system. It dried on and was very difficult to remove. Why is it necessary to run the sprinklers on customers cars? Can’t that wait till evening or early morning??

Nothing on Golf Now or the Riverwood web site, but read the ratings from Yesterday and saw where they are overseedind and heavily watering the fairways. Cart Path only and slow play. If you find a hot deal, and have no issues walking, you can play this wonderful course at a bargain price.

The course has just been reseeded and the fairways are wet and the grass is long. While it’s playable and drivable, it’s no deal for the money. By late December, it should be OK again.

Our golf cart would not lock the brakes when we got out. I returned it for another and was told they have about 20 like that and to just turn the wheel toward the curb so it wouldn’t run off. On the fairway, you had to think about how to park so it wouldn’t run off.
I assume these are rented carts. I don’t understand why management would let there be 20 of these going out unfit for safe use?? Either the rental company or someone at Heritage Landing should be able to fix these pretty easily..

Bring your own cups because they don’t supply them if you want water with ice.
Even Duffy’s couldn’t part with 1 styrofoam cup because they had an outing tomorrow and had no cups to spare!

Paid $89 to play. The putting green, chipping green and #5 green were all dead! It was blamed on a chemical error and frost. Also, had to play through workers in the fairway of #9 who were laying sod.
At least they are working on the course, but $88 is too high for me to play a course in this condition. if you can play for $60, that would make sense.
No one warned us of the problems till we arrived, so I’m letting you know here.

Haven’t played here in a while and was pleased to see the progress being made. Rate rate is $80 which is too high. If you can play for about $60/ person it’s worth the trip.

It took 2 1/2 hours to play the 1st 9 holes on a course you could have played the whole course in the same time. It was extremely overbooked. The player who joined us on 1 quit at the turn. Two guys behind us joined us on the back and quit after 3 holes.
The greens had lots of white fertilizer on them and weren’t very smooth. The tee boxes were poor and had lots of sand, but not much grass. The fairways were thin so you had to roll the ball. The rough was full of weeds.
We caught a Hot Deal and paid $29 to play. Not much to play, but had no desire to do it again.
