Hope this will be allowed because I have actually booked through Ocotillo's site rather than Golf Now the last 4 times over the last two weeks. I felt I needed to post because some of the reviews read on here are unfavorable to the pre4sent conditions, I have seen this course great and horrible over the last 20 plus years. But let me assure you that many of the sand traps now have real sand in them making an instant upgrade to the course. Yes, the greens are pelted with fixed divots but that is not the course's fault, that is the lazy golfer's fault. But lastly, I wanted to say the course is beautiful and the layout is almost a one of a kind here in the valley. I would not pay 100 plus for it but that is just me. I play the twilight prices for 45/50 after 2 o clock. Again, the course is playing awesome, especially compared to when Phil Mickelson owned it a few years back.

Fairways are getting better, tees boxes for the most part were ok, greens are really good, layout is still way under rated, price and pace were good, but still the same problems rest in the dirt areas off the fairways and the sand traps are still as bad as possible. Over-all really happy with the improvements and could not believe the two sand traps in front of the 18 green. For some reason the sand traps are filled with awesome sand and how different the course would be if all were the same. Also, do not waste your time playing out of the dirt traps, take the ball out and play it from behind the trap --without penalty. All good!!

Layout is good and unique. The sand traps are awful and there are still some rough spots outside the fairways. The greens are decent even though golfers need to fix divots!! Overall the course is now the best it has been in a long time . If you know what you are getting into, you will enjoy the value!!

I have played this course many times over the years and by far this last time the course was in it's best condition. Not even close!! It was a pleasure to see it in this condition. I will admit though, I only had time to play the front nine. Still a pleasure though!!

The course was in beautiful condition and the layout was close to the some of the more exspensive courses around. We started late in the day, 1:52, ao so we only got in 15 holes but so well worth it. I live in South Chandler but the 202 west got me there in less than 35 minutes of easy driving. I will be back eventhough I probably passed 20 courses to get there.

For 11 dollars with Hot Deals and considering some bad reviews, was not expecting a whole lot from the course. True, the course is lacking some up keep and the many sand traps around the course are in bad condition but the lay-out in my mind is one of the toughest I have played. Many visually tough driving holes especially considering it being my first time. Most approach shots are not a walk in the park either. Greens were rounding into shape and the rough was tough. The course kicked my butt and looking forward to my next time playing it to get to know the course a little bit more. For 11 dollars it will probably be today.

Considering the price-13 dollars, can not imagine having a better time. A little on the warm side but that usually means a quick round. Considering the time of year the course was in decent condition. The wild life, the views and layout were awesome as usual! The employees once again provided a service that is top notch. Thx everyone at Ocotillo, especially Tyler, Brian and Missy! You guys and gal make going there a special feeling!!

Was never told the course closes at 5:00 pm until it was 4:30. Never saw any signs or any info on the closing time. Also, was never told on the web sites that the practice facility and the front nine was closed until seconds after I paid for my reservation. If they can not handle staying past 5:00 they should just shut down the course until they can. Never heard of many businesses closing so early in the day.

Course overall was in condition. Played at 5:00 for 15 dollars and got in 13 holes or so, even with my 6 year old tagging along. Good-times!
