Seascape Golf Beach and Tennis
Played On 02/06/2023A value on the Emerald Coast
Seascape is on of the few reasonably priced courses in the area; however, the fairways and greens are in need of renovation. Rumor has it the course will be replaced with condos soon and no improvements will be made in anticipation of its closure.
Regatta Bay Golf & Yacht Club
Played On 02/12/2020Nice layout
Regatta Bay is a challenging course with a nice layout! Plenty of sand and water come into play. Careful consideration in selecting the right tee box length will make your round more enjoyable! Bunkers are immaculate and green side deep! Fairways offer generous landing zone but some forced carries require decent tee shot length.
Driving range and practice greens are great and carts relatively new with good GPS. My only gripe is that by accidentally entering a closed fairway cart locks up and it takes awhile before you can back out. This is not only embarrassing but slows play. Signs and ropes should mark closed fairways, computerized locking!
Seascape Golf Beach and Tennis
Played On 02/04/2020Good value!
Seascape offers a challenging layout with many water holes and doglegs. Most fairways are wide and accommodating, but a few require shot making skills. Water comes into play on many holes, especially around the green. Many bunkers are deep and require a full swing to get out. The course still needs some TLC, but all in all a good value for a resort course!
Links at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort
Played On 02/15/2019Great course located in the Baytown Wharf area of Sandestin Florida.
Course is in good condition and offers a very playable format. Only one hole is very difficult due to water and small landing area. Great views of Bay and surroundings. Pace of play was good, 4:05 and GPS is helpful in plotting strategy!
Good value for the money!
Seascape Golf Beach and Tennis
Played On 02/19/2018Greatly Improved
This is the third time I've played this course in three years. Maybe it was the ten inches of rain the week before or the spike in temperatures to the upper seventies, but the dead fairways have turned green and there is actually grass on them now. Course has a nice layout and is priced right. A few tough holes with water and dog legs but overall very fair. Eighteen hole has been shortened to a little over 200 yds but still a par four. my only birdie! Club house is not as nice as their sister course, Emerald Bay, but still sufficient. Played it in exactly four hours. Would play again!
The Golf Club at Bluewater Bay
Played On 02/16/2018Good Value
Blue Water Bay is a nice golf 27 hole course and great value! I played on a Friday after the area had received 10" of rain the Sunday before. The course was still wet and some parts of fairway soft. Not much roll when ball landed! Winter conditions left Bermuda Grass dormant but greens were nice condition. Course plays fairly and not many real tough holes. Number 18(9) on the Bay Course requires a 210 yard tee shot, then a 160 yard approach over water, Quite a challenge! Staff was friendly, especially the starter. Course is located just off the Bay Bridge which requires a $4.00 toll.
