I was booked for a 12:33 tee time and was told no you don’t. We do a shotgun start this time of the year and it is at 1:00pm.
Told the lady I can show my confirmation for 12:33 and was told it didn’t matter, it’s 1:00 pm.

Absolutely one of the worst course conditions I have ever played. $81 for this course is a joke!
Tee time was late due to the jamming in three groups ahead of us and they came out on hole 7 and told us we need to pick up the pace they have a shotgun start waiting to play. We waited on every shot for the group ahead of us..
Don’t waste your money here!

Very over priced for the course conditions but all the courses in the valley have jacked up their prices. May try Florida next winter.

The staff was very friendly. Course was in good condition. Starting the overseeding process. Pace of play was great. Joined up with two gentlemen, Dell and Larry and they made the game very enjoyable.

Given the time of the year the course was in good condition. Greens were bumpy but not bad. Good food in the restaurant. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Give the course a try and I’m su4e you will enjoy it.

40-50% of the grass is missing in the fairways. The greens are very bumpy. I realize it is mid September but in all my years playing here, I have never seen it in this condition.

A hidden gem in the Brookville Lake area. The course is always in great condition and the staff has always have been very accommodating to our group when we go over monthly. They have bottled water for the guest which is not available at most courses.
The front nine is not so difficult but when you get to the back nine things get a bit more challenging. You can make the course as challenging as you want depending on the tee selection, I might add that the entire course is scenic and quite often you might catch the sight of the local bald eagles on hole 11 or 16.
I highly recmmend this course.

The greens are fair. The pin placement are rarely changed. On some fairways you have to roll the ball to find grass to hit from.
The course conditions continue to decline.

The greens are horrible. If not for the green paint they are all terrible. It appears the greens hard weed killer sprayed on them. It appears unlikely the greens will grow back over the summer.

The lady working in the pro shop could use a course in customer relations. No good morning, may I help you or thanks for coming out to play this morning. It was like I was an imposition to her morning.
When I got to the tee box , the starter was busy putting on the putting green. As I start to tee off he drives up to the tee box. I ask if he needs my receipt. "Yeah or your name."
It appears customer relations is lacking at this course. Too bad because I like the course.

The greens were very bumpy. I was expecting smoother greens for this time of the year. Pace of play was very good (4 hours). The course is over price for the condition of the course.

Like many of the municipal courses the course needs a lot of attention. The greens are fast but need some attention. Cart pathses are very rough.

The most interesting part of the course was the island par 3 hole. The fun bear 10 fairway was in poor condition. One of the locals in my foursome said the fairway was closed last year for repair.

I always enjoy playing Walden Pond. Greens were in good shape and rolled good. I would recommend you give the course a try if you haven't played it already.

The staff member told us when checking in that we would see a noticeable difference in the course. The greens were very good and rolled true. Much attention had been given to the fairways and the rough. Overall the course had been cleaned up since I last played the course last year. It was the first time to play the course for two of our foursome and they want to go back.
I would recommend you consider the course if you haven't played it this year.

The course was beautiful as advertised. A lot of courses promote the scenic beauty of their course but this one lives up to the billing. The only complaint I had was the condition of the greens. They had recently been aerated and could have used more sand to fill in the holes.

I do understand the heat of the summer takes a toll on the courses but I have played it before in the summer and it's never been in this condition before. The greens were bumpy and the fairways were bare in many spots.

The value for the price was very good fairways and greens were in good condition. The rough could have used some attention but in all fairness,the weather could have been a factor.
The course was in much better shape than when we played last year. Pace of play was excellent. Completed 18 holes in less than 3-1/2 hours.
The prices in the grill are great.
I would definitely recommend the course.
