Course in EXCELLENT shape for so early in the year ! LOVE the layout - this is about as challenging as it gets !

For WHAT YOU GET you just CAN'T BEAT IT ! Always a TOUGH TEST and the condition of the course was REALLY GOOD for this time of year . I'll be back SOON !

Me and 3 OTHER IDIOTS were the only ones out there playing in the 95 degree , 150% humidity weather , lol !! That made for a round of THREE HOURS which got me to work ON TIME amazingly -I'd told my boss I'd DEFINITELY be late so he was SHOCKED TO SEE ME ! Greens were RATTY IN SPOTS but rolled true . Fairways were in good shape but the tee boxes WERE LIKE CEMENT AS USUAL !! Seems like no matter WHAT time of the year I play there they're ALWAYS like that . They should HAND OUT HAMMERS in the Pro Shop to drive your tee into the ground with ! Still had a good time though and WILL RETURN !

Overall the course was in EXCELLENT shape but the greens were being aerated so a few of them were pretty rough . Like the title says though , for FOURTEEN BUCKS I almost FEEL GUILTY saying anything about THAT , lol ! LOVE the course - its VERY CHALLENGING and you have to bring your A game everytime in order to shoot a DECENT score .

I've been playing this course since the mid 90's and it's definitely the best shape I've ever seen it in ! A couple greens on the back are SHOT but that's because they're against the mountain where they don't get much sun but the rest were beautiful . The tee boxes are still like CONCRETE though - you'd better BRING A HAMMER to put your tee in the ground !

Really ENJOYED the whole experience - the ride there, the friendliness of the staff , the course itself . The ONLY thing I didn't enjoy was the condition of the tee boxes - they were TERRIBLE on almost every hole ! They were VERY PATCHY AND UNCUT with hay all over them . I'm guessing the hay was there to keep the sun off the seeds but it obviously DIDN'T HELP - the the seeds just never really TOOK for some reason. I DUCK HOOKED about 7 tee balls [ which RUINED any chance of a GOOD scoring round ] and I NEVER DO THAT ! I FADE the ball when I hit it right or SLICE IT when I hit it bad but I NEVER hook it . I attribute that to the UNEVENESS of the tee boxes [ due to the PATCHINESS of them ] AND the fact the grass is high in some spots which made it difficult for me to tee the ball the right height EVERY TIME ! Like I said though OVERALL I really enjoyed the experience and will definitely BE BACK SOON ! I LOVE the course layout - it's really NEAT !

One of the NICEST courses around the North Jersey area FOR SURE !! Course was in almost PRISTINE CONDITION - fairways, greens, tee boxes were all in FANTASTIC shape. The only SLIGHT complaint is the BUNKERS ! Not much sand at all in them so you were basically hitting off of HARD PACKED DIRT ! I've seen this A LOT playing here AND in Pennsylvania so I guess making sure there's sand in the bunkers must be a lot more EXPENSIVE then you think !

I hadn't played this course since the 90's and BOY HAS IT IMPROVED !! It was nothing more then a HAY FIELD back then - the fairways were BARELY detectable and the greens were so SLOW that you needed a hammer to reach the hole because they were never cut either ! Now it's GORGEOUS - beautifully well manicured fairways AND greens - it's actually like a REAL golf course now . It's pretty darn challenging too - uphill,downhill AND side hill lies in the fairways and small, slick greens now to contend with. Not to mention the POWER LINES that criss cross the course also , lol !!! Definitely worth the trip !

Saw it on Golfnow.com for 15 bucks so I couldn't resist it ! It was 48 degrees, windy and cold but the sun was bright so the rest didn't really bother me. Course was in very good shape for this time of year . Greens were SLICK - there weren't too many putts being left short ! First time I've played it in about 20 years because it's normally way too overpriced by the golf club but at Golfnow's prices I'LL BE BACK !

Over all it's a nice course but the fairways are a little RATTY . The greens were GORGEOUS THOUGH SO THAT MADE UP FOR IT !

I've played this course ON AND OFF since the mid 90's and it continues to be what it has ALWAYS BEEN - a VERY CHALLENGING course that tests you in A LOT OF WAYS ! I've seen reviews here complaining about the condition of the fairways and they're RIGHT - they were a little ROUGH to say the least but they've ALWAYS BEEN THAT WAY since I've been playing it ! If you don't like hitting off a bare brown spot once in awhile then just do what MOST average golfers do - MOVE IT ON TO A GREEN PATCH ! I always PLAY IT AS IT LIES - to me it just adds to the challenge. The greens MORE THEN made up for the fairways - they were in EXCELLENT SHAPE ! The back is definitely the TOUGHER nine since a lot of it is against the hills . You get a lot of uneven lies even in the fairway. We enjoyed it IMMENSELY and will be back SOON !

My tee time was 7:10 and I was paired with one other guy. We literally FLEW around the course - finished in 2:55 !! CAN'T BEAT THAT and it's also the reason we both shot so well too. Course was in GREAT shape - no complaints at all !

Got an EARLY BIRD tee time at 7:20 am for 30 bucks and change so it was a WINNER even before I teed off ! Things only GOT BETTER from there, lol !! I teamed up with another single and we FLEW around the course just feeding off of one another's good play . We finished the whole round in 2 hours and 55 minutes - EASILY the fastest round I'd ever been involved in !! Nobody IN FRONT TO SLOW US DOWN and nobody behind us to PUSH US EITHER - there's just NO BETTER WAY that I know of to play golf ! I'll be going back real soon FOR SURE !!

Saw it for 22 bucks for a 7:00 am tee time and COULDN'T RESIST and BOY AM I GLAD , LOL !! I got there just before 6 and was the FIRST ONE THERE -15 minutes later the starter showed up . He paired me with two other singles and we were the first ones on the course at exactly 7 !! It was the most ENJOYABLE round I've ever played BY FAR ! No one IN FRONT of us holding us back and no one IN BACK pushing us - it just COUNLDN'T have been MORE ENJOYABLE !! I think it was the main reason I shot my best round of the year too . The course itself is THE BEST IN THE POCONOS - nearly FLAWLESS as far as conditions go . It's safe to say that I'll be back real soon AT THE EXACT SAME TIME !!

Played at twilight for 55 bucks because I didn't feel like GETTING RIPPED OFF before then [ it's like 110 bucks before that ! ] but the course was still in INCREDIBLE shape - especially the GREENS !! They were REALLY FAST BUT TRUE so there were no surprises. I'd played it three times before but the last time was 15 years ago so I didn't remember too much. It definitely DIDN'T DISAPPOINT !

The course was in EXCELLENT condition due to all the rain we've had ! LUSH fairways and greens [ ESPECIALLY the greens ] on every hole - it was in the BEST shape I've ever seen it and I've played here a number of times in the past. There WERE a few things I wasn't CRAZY ABOUT though ! #1 , there was only ONE WATER BUCKET ON THE ENTIRE COURSE THAT ACTUALLY HAD WATER IN IT !! The KICKER to that was there were NO CUPS believe it or not !! My brother and I just picked it up and drank STRAIGHT FROM THE SPOUT since it was on the 17th hole and WE WERE PARCHED BY THEN !! The place seems like it's being run BY A FEW TEENAGERS ONLY so it really DIDN'T surprise me - only TICKED ME OFF !! We still had a great time IN SPITE of that though just because the course itself was in such GREAT shape !
