Course was in great shape, long fairways with plenty of width and fast sloping greens. The problem was not enough golf carts to go around so T times were delayed 45 minutes. Usually this is not a problem. But when the sun is setting at 5 and play starts at 2:15(and not the scheduled 1:30), not easy to finish. This happened both days we played. Tahquitz course needs someone to pay attention to this problem. There were many unhappy golfers waiting to play. Push carts would be a great addition since it is a very walkable course. Also a Marshall on the course would be VERY helpful to move golfers along and keep them on a time line.

Course in decent shape, slow however due to not enough golf carts. Started 15 later than T time. Marshall’s were true gems.

Played it many years ago, in its prime. Royal course was decent but Indian needs much improvement with long blotchy fairway grass and areas of weeds and dead plants. However greens were fine.

Wonderful day for golf! Course was in fantastic shape but pace of play was a little slow.

The driving range is closed on Tuesday and Thursday and when open it closes at 2 pm. We were told today that the driving range was open and were given a bucket of balls. Once we started hitting our balls a voice over a loud speaker told us the range was closed and to get off the range. Quite embarrassing.
On the 10th tee another foursome appeared and we were backed up for the back nine. The fairways have poor sparsely tufted grass, but greens were quick. Messy overgrown areas all around course and on going construction which led to poor directions for course maneuvering.
At least two staff members in clubhouse were rude when any questions asked. However the cart men and starters were quite entertaining and pleasant.

My husband and I have played this course numerous times over the last 5 years and have enjoyed it until this last 2 weeks. We played once last week and again today. Both times the play was so slow. With pile up of players between holes.and waiting at least 10 minutes between holes we finally gave up on the 15th. We had been on the course for 4 hours by that time!

Lots of weeds in fairways. Thick grass bunches off fairways....can’t see your ball in it. Holes on back 9 not well marked. However the back nine has much improved grass fairways. Greens are good and fast.
