Would have given a 5 except for 2 greens on the back side had drain pipe cave ins across the surface that should have been repaired during their reseed down time.

early round , course in excellent condition. There are many pitfalls, typical of Pete Dye
that would take several rounds to solve. Very nice staff.
Desert Dunes Golf Course
Played On 02/23/2019Slow but enjoyable
We enjoyed the course, but could not finish our 18 because of the very slow pace. A 1.12 tee time should allow for a full 18 before sundown at 5.30, but we could only finish 14! We saw a Marshall at the club house but not on the course.

Played On 02/27/2018Needs work on the bunkers
This course would have gotten a 5 star rating but for the rocky bunkers. And I mean ROCKY. One of the guys playing with my group hit a monster rock barely buried under his ball on the 17th, bunker to the left of the green. I found several ball-sized rocks in another bunker. You'd think that in the desert they could find some sand???
