Greens were a little slower than usual but overall course is in excellent condition

I played there Tuesday and Friday. Tuesday the course was excellent in all regards. Friday the front 9 fairways were mown too low while the back 9 fairways were really good. They did have a tournament that morning but they would have has plenty of play anyway. I told all my friends about Tuesday then apologized for fairways on Friday. I like this course, but the general trend for municipals seem to be save money which leads to poorer playing conditions. I have quit playing several courses in DFW for that reason. DFW is large enough to sustain all the courses. Spend some freaking money and keep them up!

Course is in better shape now. It is just difficult to play in 15-20 mph winds. My first time playing with 2 lefties.

Gorgeous day for golf. Only 1 green had any problems, fairways were better than any I have played recently and course is always fun to play. Course in really good shape for early March.

What can you say about ideal conditions on Feb 1st. I do wish they had some intermediate tees for us age 65+ golfers. 6135 yards from the whites is a little long, but 5335 is a little short. Great day overall!

I don't normally play on weekends and was not expecting to finish 18 holes teeing off at 1:00. We got off on time and pace was good for 18 holes even though it was crowded. We finished in 4 hrs 5 minutes. I have played there 3 times now and have always enjoyed myself. I will go back again.

Beautiful weather and course was packed on a Thursday afternoon. Greens were fast and course was in terrific shape. It is my favorite course in the area.

That is the best shape I have ever seen this course. The heat index was 105 with little wind so it was a challenge. There are 2 things I would recommend for the course. I wish they had senior tee boxes. 6200 yards from the whites is a stretch for us 68 year olds, but 5400 from the reds is a little short. Also, they would get more play with some lower rates. It was 33 miles from Plano for me and over 50 miles for my buddy from Garland, but we would play there much more often if the rates were lower. I just happened to get a fantastic rate the day we played. $69 is a little pricey and they don't have senior rates. If you are willing to pay the rate, it is a great experience.

Driving accuracy is critical. Fairways were in excellent shape, but greens were just a little slow which seems to be the norm everywhere right now. This is one of my favorite courses in the Metroplex. It is a little far from Plano, but worth the trip. We played on a Tuesday afternoon (3 players) and finished in less than 3.5 hours. I absolutely love this course.

We teed off 45 minutes after original tee time (said due to frost). It took over 3 hours to play 9 holes so we just left. There was 1 person working in the golf shop and 1 in the restaurant. If you like wide open fairways, this is your place. It is not a scenic golf course. I have nothing good to say about this golf course. I have played it 3 times in the past 20 years and swear I will never come back. I play over 100 rounds a year and this course ranks near the bottom in DFW.

Greens were pretty good but fairways were bare in spots. Considering where this course is located, I still don't think they are spending the time and money to make this a really nice course. Other courses in the area are in better shape. I like this course, but it needs to improve. We've had enough rain but fairways need fertilizer! I can say rates are reasonable

Fastest greens they have ever had. Fairways and rough in great shape.

The course was in excellent shape. The rough was a little high due to all the rain, but this course is always fun to play.
