Chestatee

This is a good and fun course to play. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Course was in nice shape. The driving range is small and men's locker room is a joke.

Sugar Creek is dead without DeKalb County paying lots to keep open.

You know you are at Sugar Creek when you see the practice putting green. Don't let the largest clubhouse in the area fool you! This is the worst course and condition in Atlanta. I try to play here once a year. But no more. The front nine is closed, but the only way you know is to be told right before your round. Don't drive to this course. You are warned!

Thank you for your feedback and we apologize for your poor experience. We assure you this is not the standard we strive to achieve and are continuing to work on course conditions. Look forward to having you back soon and making up for this experience.

Course is in good shape.

I was very pleased with the course and condition. I played St Augustine Shores and Royal St Augustine the days before. This course was in so much better shape than those. From the greens to the rough. I will be in-town in February and will make the trip to St Johns Golf Club. I like the layout! Water comes into play on maybe seven holes.

Sugar Creek Course needs lot of work.

As you drive in you see the large new clubhouse, lots of tennis courts and it looks like a top facility. Don't be fooled! The course needs some serious attention. Branches over hang many holes and trees have not been pruned ever. The rough is poor and overgrowth under trees is taking over. The bent greens has crabgrass and other growth in them. The bunkers are so bad most needs to be removed with most have zero sand in them. I saw around 12 golfers on the course from 1 - 5:00. I know the management company has changed, but it is time to change again! Don't play here until serious attention to the course is given. The clubhouse is great, but what about Sugar Creek Golf Course?

Course in good shape!

The course reminds me of lots of courses in North GA. It seems to remind me on Woodmont Golf Club the most (ten plus miles away). The staff and players are friendly. It seems most of the membership hates the phase "Golf Now". I played there because I received a deal. I guess most clubs in North GA hates "Golf Now". Just ask members at Fields Ferry or Smoke Rise Country Club. I love to play golf and love the great deals!

I would recommend this course if you are in the area.

Wonderful mountain feel course.

I have played course twice. This is a very challenging course for me. The par 4's can be difficult. This is a very nice layout tract. Greens are great. Lots of wildlife everywhere! Kevin in the Golf Shop is first class. This course reminds me of Reunion Golf Club with the greens and service.

Childhood Golf Course

I have always enjoyed this classic Donald Ross design. Greens and course are always in wonderful condition! I am glad his has been Notre Dame High School home course for fifty plus years. I have played his course 100 + times. The staff is always very friendly. The course numbers were flipped in the early 90's (1 thru 9, is now 10 thru 18). The course numbers needs to be changed back to represent the Donald Ross Era design. The course was design in around 1928, why change the history of this great course & golf club? Play Brainerd Golf Club!

Best Country Club in Tennessee.

I have played Belle Meade C.C. (in Nashville) to Memphis C.C. and lots of golf clubs and country clubs in Tennessee. Chattanooga Golf & Country Club is the best club in the state. Period. Greens to service. First class!
