Los Amigos Country Club
Played On 11/27/2023Not worth it
Greens are challenging and conditions are fine overall. Terrible pace tho, multiple twosomes and singles playing their own round and refusing to pair up means 6hours or more. No marshall, had to leave after 9holes taking 3hours ........
Indian Hills Golf Club
Played On 01/18/2021Fun Course
This course was great, we had an 8am tee time and pace of play was fine even with a 4some in front who were new to golfing we were done in 4 and a half hours.
Course is challenging with almost every hole presenting elevation changes. Some of the reviews have been brutal but the fairways are fine, greens are fine and if you want to pay $300 a round go for it but there’s a lot of value at Indian Hills and you will definitely learn how to club up or down based on elevation and/or the hard core winds we got today for most of the round!
The Links at Summerly
Played On 01/16/2021Fun but challenging
Great value, went out at 6:30am and finished 3hours 15minutes. Fairways are dead grass with plenty of hazards hence the links style. Greens are fast when damp and faster when dry. A lot of fun, bring a few extra balls if it’s your first time playing as the hazards definitely look forward to meeting you!
Omni La Costa Resort & Spa - Legends Course
Played On 12/17/2020Nice but will not be back
Very nice resort , some great options for using cool scooters on the course with your golf bag etc and first class amenities. The layout is great for a resort course and the pace of play is 50/50 with a group waving us through and then we flew through the rest of the course so it’s a flip of the coin. Biggest drawback is the course is dead , grass is terrible and does not warrant the drive or the $115 tee fee, greens are little rough but manageable. It’s very nice to have the driving range included as well, in many aspects it would be great but it’s like playing a dead desert course
