This course is a fun challenge without being overly difficult, it’s a great example of target golf. Pick a spot and hit it there, or be wet. The course was in pretty solid condition, except for some yellowing, even though it was soaking wet. It was unfortunate that there was a bunch of construction going on, ruining the best photo opportunity spots in the course facing the bay.

Still a fun experience, finished in just under three hours and shot a reasonable score, having the score pushed into the upper 70s by a couple water mishaps.

For $115 I was pretty disappointed. The course was non-descript and left a lot to be desired in a course of this “caliber”. The greens were incredibly slow for being a “tour” course, and the greens were only moderately firm, allowing for a lot of spin. The conditions played like $50-60 course, the rough was patchy and yellowing. The greens were spotty and had crab grass in some areas, some of the greens had heavy sand around the flag. At the end of the day if you asked me if it was fun, I would say sure. If you asked me if I’d come back or recommend it to a friend, I would not. Nothing special for a TPC course. This course screams, “you couldn’t afford Sawgrass, so here you go”.
