Keith Hills Golf Club - White Course
Played On 11/06/2019Always a fun round
I've played all 3 of their 9's and each has its own personality with different challenges. It's always a fun course to play with great staff.
The Golf Club at Chapel Ridge
Played On 03/24/2019We'll be back!
I played this course only once before and brought along 3 "rookies" this round, based on my previous experience. Throughout the round, I heard things like "This is a really great course," "This hole is going to be really pretty when the grass turns green" (still in 'winter' mode) and such.
We'll be back to play it a few more times this season. It's a nice little hidden gem!
Reedy Creek Golf Course
Played On 12/24/2018One of my favorites.
This is one of my favorite courses local to the Triangle. Greens always seem to be in great shape and offers some really pretty holes. Staff is always welcoming and (this round) challenges each club in your bag. This course is consistently near the top of my list when I'm looking for a tee time.
Reedy Creek Golf Course
Played On 05/13/2018A fun course for all levels
It was a couple years since I played this course and wow. It's got some challenges for the more experienced golfer, but open enough for the beginner. The rough didn't make you pay, as you would expect, light tree lines along most fairways (easy to play out of or even find your ball). The greens didn't seem to take the same beating from late "winter" weather as others in central NC, so putting worked better than I expected. Want to have a good round? Play here.
Creek at Carolina Trace Country Club
Played On 04/27/2018Hot deals only
This course is a good course, but overpriced. I can't justify their reg price of $70. I've never played their Lake course - but at 120, it better be in perfect shape (which I doubt, based on their Creek course). I still hope to go back, I enjoyed it...but as the title reads - "hot deals only."
The Preserve at Jordan Lake Golf Club
Played On 04/01/2018A good test!
The starter warned me before I headed out. "It's a good test," he said. And, he wasn't kidding. I played Anderson Creek, another Davis Love III's creations and this played very similar - with some more hazards (many blind). I had fun, nonetheless, and look forward to another opportunity to challenge it again.
Something to note: I played with a couple guys that had played in wetter conditions a couple weeks earlier and they mentioned the course played quite different than our near perfectly dry conditions.
King's Grant Golf & Country Club
Played On 04/27/2015A fun course to play.
I actually came here to play a round for my birthday. Staff was extremely friendly. The course layout created some challenges and made for an overall good round. I'm up for another round here and will probably get back a few more times this season. I ended up playing alone and since it was my 1st time on the course, was unaware of some hazards involved...just play with someone that's played here before and you should be set.
Country Club Of Johnston County
Played On 04/06/2014I'll be back.
This was my 1st time playing the course. Now that I have a feel for it, I know I can score a little better. The traps were great play and well placed. Don't go long when attacking the greens.
Staff was very friendly and welcoming.
Thanks for the 5-stars and great feedback! We truly appreciate your support of The Golf Club at Chapel Ridge, and we're glad to hear you all enjoyed your recent round with us. Come back for another round soon! #ChapelRidgeGolf
