Casselberry Golf Club
Played On 04/23/2019A Public Place to Hit Golf Balls
I've played Casselberry over 100 times. It's short, the greens are tiny and be prepared to play "target golf." If you hit your driver over 250 yards, you won't (or shouldn't) use it more than 2 or 3 times in the round.
Casselberry needs to level its tee boxes and maintain them better. No on likes teeing off from a beach. And please, when the temperature jumps over 90F, how about maintaining water on the course. Heat stroke is a real thing.
Casselberry is a "public" course, so don't expect anyone to rake a trap, replace a divot, repair a ball mark or watch their pace of play. You might even see someone playing barefoot (I saw it). It's a war zone, dominated by out of bounds looming everywhere, with occasionally nice patches of fairway and good (but very small) putting surfaces.
The clubhouse is friendly. The short driving range is lit at night (if you don't mind hitting off of rat-chewed grass).
