Hawk's Landing Golf Club
Played On 06/28/2019Exceptional Course and Wonderful Customer Service
When there is a bad review, I have to admit I am the first to write about it. Today, Hawks Landing Golf Course loomed and played exceptional. From the Pro Shop to the Cart guy, each one showed professionalism and mad each golfer feel right at home. I played the course a few years ago and it was in bad shape. Today, the fairways were plush, the greens immaculate, the tee box pristine. I will definitely play again soon and will tell others to play when in town.
Wolf Creek Golf Course
Played On 03/16/2019Wet Course - Didn’t drain well!!!
First, of all, it rained a day ago, so the entire course cart path only. They got $52.00 dollars for a round of golf; which was a rip off. I can imagine if the course was dry and the fairways green; $52.00 dollars still would have been a stretch. The pro shop Folks were courteous but unyielding to allow a youth to play at reduced rates. They made him pay the $52.00.. The youth was a GSGA junior member. This golf club policy is outrageous and we won’t be back. The course must be under new management because usually most golf clubs make some allowance for youth golfers.
Temple Terrace Golf & Country Club
Played On 07/15/2018Good Play & Excellent Service
The course play was good. We got there and the rain really came down..I mean torrential rain. By the time of play the course drained well and we enjoyed great play. James, the PGA, was very courteous and informative and helped with golf play. The course help very helpful and informative. I would definitely recommend this course and will play it again. The course challenging and wide open for play.
Shingle Creek Golf Club
Played On 06/03/2018Great Golf Course
My wife and I really enjoyed playing Shingle Creek over the weekend! What a magnificantly designed course with plush fairways and greens. Although they notified you of the aeration project, the course was still in playable condition. The golf staff was exceptionally courteous and helpful. We will be back again and again! Just outstanding! Play well!
Hawk's Landing Golf Club
Played On 06/02/2018Bad Course Condition
We played the course Saturday. The course condition was horrible compared to other comparable golf courses. The fairways were in just horrible conditions, as if there had been a flood or mass fungus. I played the course about a year ago and it was prestine. We played several golf courses in the area and the other courses were in way better condition. Besides the bad course condition the greens were aerated and the golf cart area under construction. I hope the course gets better because I remember that this was the course to play. Good staff.

Steel Canyon Golf Club
Played On 02/19/2017Course is okay
I played the course for the first time yesterday. Although it rained two days ago, the course had many places were water was standing and the course was soggy. Bad drainage. The pace of the course slow, with many backups. I will play again another day but today the course received average ratings.
Lake Spivey Golf Club
Played On 06/28/2015What a great course to play!
Lake Spivey Golf Club is a full-service golf course and club. Friendly service and the course is in impeccable condition. Both front and back nine have their challenges but most golfers should score well. My wife and I played around of golf and we will certainly be back to play another round.
Thank you so much for the great review Michael! We are so glad to hear that you loved our course and can't wait to have you and your wife join us again soon.
Michael, thank you for your feedback about your recent experience at Hawk's Landing. We did actually receive 12+ inches of rain from May 15-22, however the fairway condition you are referring to is a direct result of our overseeding the golf course with Winter Rye Grass and the subsequent transition back to our 419 Bermuda grass which sometimes does leave some bear patches that grow-in throughout the summer months. The greens were aerified May 29 & 30 and we were also resurfacing our golf cart staging area. These are the reasons why we had reduced rates during the time you played. We appreciate your comments and hope to have you back again. Thank you again for taking the time to share your Hawk's Landing experience.
