Ii asked starter where is first tee. Pointed to tee box. Unbeknownst to us it was the 10th tee back 9. He never said a word about going off back. Shows 519 yards for first hole. We see a pin to the left was maybe 370 from tee box. All first time players and we’re not sure where to go. So not a good start. However a warm welcome and took my bags out of car and placed on a cart. Same with leaving and cleaned our clubs. Good value for money. Starter needs to step it up

A beautiful day and good pace. Recently aerated greens made putting a bit tough. Pace was good for Mill Pond. I parked at bag drop and no one helped with my bags. I placed them on rack and still no help with 3 employees lounging around. Never had this happened at other courses and questioned the front desk. Oh since and after covid they are not allowed to touch golf bags. They were getting tip hungry and bringing bags to customers cars. So much for the whole golf experience and customer service.

Every time I visit my son in Raleigh I play 2 courses, Lochmere was a terrific course. Great condition, good driving range and friendly staff. Really enjoyed my round. There was water on every hole so a real challenge keeping the ball straight..I look forward to playing this gem again

Very friendly staff but what a rip off. I pay golf-now $43 and says nothing to be paid at course..They ask for another $23 per person per cart,,,We had husband n wife in same cart and paid extra $46.Also all the courses have spread out tee times.. Not Stonebridge there was a 1:57 before our 2:06...9 min spread and we waited on every tee box...over 5 hr round. So you have safety with your own cart but not safety in tee time spreads. So I paid $66 for a weekday. I have never paid over $45 with a cart in last 4 years at this course. I won't be back and I played this course 5 times in last 2 months.

We have a 2:52 tee time and didn't tee off until 3:30.. We were delayed because waiting on carts .Everybody got separate carts due to virus,, 1) Every tee time was a reservation made in advance so no walk ups and 2) There were at least 100 carts sitting in the parking lot within 80 yards. So how can there possibly be a delay when you have ample carts and know in advance the number of players. The course was in great shape and will be in my top 5 on Long Island if the club gets its act together on timely tee times.

Enjoyed my round with the beautiful weather. The greens were in exceptional shape for this time of year. Only complain is no bathrooms on course and for some reason no water is provided even in the summer.

One of my favorite courses. Check in effortless but first tee backed up onto development entrance. Could have used a starter. Many traps without rakes and no tee markers. No tee markers was surprising. Having shared that I love the course. Round proceeded smoothly and enjoyed this Feb day. Course really makes you think in a strategically.

A warm reception and quick check in. Got out a few minutes earlier then expected which was good. Just a bit of a wait first couple holes and then everything moved well. Loved the course and the huge greens were amazing. The speed of greens was perfect. The course is pretty easy and has a slope of 120 so it was nice smoking a big cigar and just taking in the good weather.
I will certainly be back soon

What a great surprise...The bag drop off guys were very friendly and quick to help out. Check in was quick and easy, another friendly staff member. We started on the exact tee time.. I loved the course and will become my new favorite,,,My only issue was a wait on almost all tee boxes, this was not due to just the people in front but whole course looked delayed.. A 5 hour round. However such a beautiful day and course I give an excellent rating

My second time playing this course. First the staff is terrific. Always laid back..The cart kid greets you at the end and helps to clean the clubs,,,Very nice touch. Enjoyed the holes The 10th hole # 1 rated is one heck of a challenge,,,The rolled greens are quite fast but fair. Will play this course again..No onsite eating facilities...

I have always given this course rave reviews.. The course layout, well kept and staff is terrific.

Perfect weather and pace of play was a bit slow but bearable. We make the turn about 3:00 and the starter let out groups on the back nine,, Getting old myself so careful how I word it but these guys were 78+ years old . The back nine was backed up and I stood there amazed.... We skipped ahead 4 holes and continued our play...I can only give 1 star...

The staff is always friendly and the course was in great shape. The pace of play was comfortable and the weather was perfect. I wouldn’t change a thing. Had my best 9 holes when my new Epic $529.00 driver snapped on the 9th tee. That’s life take it in stride

Pull up and the friendly staff is always helpful getting your bag and placing on the cart. The girl at the front desk not so friendly, fielding phone calls in the middle of checking us in. Customer service is place the call on hold and help the person standing in front of you..

A great day and we got out earlier then our tee time. Hardly any wait and things moved smoothly.. The inside amenities are not open yet. I would certainly recommend to a friend and play again

Enjoyed a quick 3 1/2 hour round. Bob the starter was a terrific guy and let us know we could start before our tee off time. Love the course and requires strategic placing of shots. Only issue was the restrooms were locked

Upon checking in there were 2 guys behind the desk and maybe 15 golfers out on the course. They questioned my golf now reservation. Even when I showed it on my phone they still at to discuss whether to let me out. There was maybe 15 people on the course so why the hesitation.

Great round for Dec, started off about misty but cleared up. There is no longer any bar or food service since the company providing the service quit

I enjoyed a round of golf at Stonebridge but there continues to be an issue. There is no water on the course. I bring my own aluminum can but it runs out I was told once that there is no water due to chemicals used on the course. Really so why can every other course provide water on the course. How hard would it be to erect an enclosed water container on the front and back nine ? Come on

I love this course and the staff is excellent. The wind was blowing very hard which makes the holes near the bay extremely difficult..We tee'd off at 3:08 on time. It took 2hrs and 58 minute to finish 9 holes. I couldn't take the wait any longer and walked off. It was a beautiful day.There was a ranger.. I don;t know if the golfers were over matched by the course and weather. I cannot figure what took so long other than golfers playing for the first time this year. Not the course if you are not playing regularly..

The staff apologized and I have no suggestions? I'm stumped..This is longest time in my 30+ years in golf that 9 holes took so long...I signed up for 18. Despite other positive ratings 3 hours for 9 holes I can only give a poor rating overall.

Smithtown landing is my go to course. First the staff is very friendly..The Pro shop and Starters always accommodating. The greens had been aerated which all courses are doing this time of year. The course was in great shape. I know its a weekend but a 5 hour round..I see a marshal driving around but I honestly believe he is not doing his job.. The halfway house has great hot dogs ans always a great stop.

Another warm welcome by the friendly staff at Smithtown landing. Just easy teeing up on the first hole after an easy check in. It was walking only due to early rain. Layout is good and penalizes if you hit it too far off the fairway Course in great shape and moved at a good pace. The bar is a bar dated which is surprising since a catering company has the rights.The food guy does a great job. This is my go to course.

$15.00 for 18 holes with a cart on a Friday is amazing. I looked online and going rate was $50. Thanks Golfow. I played off the blues and the course played very long. A 488 yard par 4 and 3 par 3"s of 187, 205 and 210 yards. The course was in great condition. The greens were large but the speed was quite slow and made for tough putting, We were a twosome and caught up to a foursomes so waiting a bit. There are 3 (9) hole course so you can avoid a wait if you choose the right 9. I think excellent value and will go again.
