I really like this course. Lots of water, but really doesn't come into play that often. Good layout.

This is a really nice course. It has a fun layout and is really a pretty course to play. Unfortunately, there had been lots of rain recently and since there are only cart paths on parts of the course, there were many deep ruts on the course. The staff is going to have lots of work to repair in many places. I always play this course when in Destin.

Unfortunately, there had been a heavy rain the night before, so the course was quite wet. Had to move the ball many times due to standing water. Overall though the course was in good condition. The greens were nice though a little slow. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely play here again.

The course was in good condition, especially the greens. I arrived early and they let me play early. which I like. Good value by going through Golf Now.

This course is in need of some TLC. Many of the tee boxes were bare. The fairways were okay as were the greens, though they are slow. The staff was very friendly and helpful, one of the best I have dealt with in some time. You get what you pay for.

As municipal courses go, this one is average at best. It's very hilly with many blind shots. Not walkable. The greens were in fairly good shape but the fairways were hard as a rock. You literally couldn't get clean contact with the ball. Its not many times that I actually prefer to be in the rough! Only worth it when you go through Golf Now and book a "Hot Deal".

First of all its sad that the owners don't put more money into this course. With a little TLC, this could be a really nice course. It wasn't as bad as some reviewers have indicated. Are there some dead spots on some of the greens, yes. Could they be better, yes. But even more problematic are the tee boxes which in many cases could double as a bunker. I guess the owners don't understand that if you make the course better, green fees could be increased! Don't ever pay regular rates on this course! Go through Golf Now and look for the " Hot Deals".

This is probably one of the best courses in Destin. Very well maintained and a fair but challenging layout. definitely a course to play when in Destin.

Played this course on Saturday and was surprised that the pace of play wasn't too bad. Course was in good condition with nice fairways and greens. Its a little challenging for the mid teen handicapper, but still fair.
I would definitely play this course again.

I found this course on Golf Now and based upon the reviews I decided to give it a chance. I was a little concerned about the supposed "narrow fairways". The friendly greeter and starter also mentioned it when I said it was my first time at this course. I didn't find the fairways that narrow or intimidating! Now they aren't like the wide open ones you might find at a "resort" course, but they were easy to manage. The entire staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The course conditions were good except for the greens which were very slow. At checkin they listed them at a 7.5. The staff went out of their way to let me know about the slowness of the greens. So I was prepared. It turns out they have another course there as well. It has faster greens. I will definitely try it on my next trip.

Booking through Golf Now made this outing a good value for the price. The staff was friendly and even let me tee off ½ hour early and play as a single. My only complaint is that they don't include hole layouts on their scorecards, so you are basically playing blind. Apparently, this was an issue with many of the golfers, since being a single and playing fast I was waved through several groups and all said they were playing "blind" as well. I mentioned this to the pro shop staff and was told "that's why we SELL yardage books". REALLY! I would imagine a majority of their golfers are visitors just like me and will only play this course once or twice a year. Given that fact, it is unlikely that most golfers will shell out $10 for a yardage book! This is further supported by the fact that none of the 3 groups that waved me through had one! Maybe if enough people complain, they will put the layouts on the scorecards.

I played this course for the first time and thought it was really a nice course. It was in good condition, though the greens were a little slow..as can be expected on a public course. Unfortunately, the pace of play was extremely slow. Lots of twosomes and none would pair up. It was so slow that on the turn, I went back and played the front nine again.

We almost didn't book a tee time on this course because of some of the previous reviews. I'm glad we didn't pay attention to the negative ones. This is a beautiful course that takes you through very scenic areas. It was in very good condition considering the unbelievable rain that Charleston has had over the last several weeks. It's definitely a challenging course, but fair. You do need to place some shots to keep out of trouble. Great course, great day of golf!

This course would have been really fun and nice to play on a sunny day. Unfortunately, due to heavy and constant rains, there was lots of standing water everywhere. In fact, we didn't even get to finish our round due to a huge rainstorm hitting us right after we made our turn.

The only real negative was the driving range being located directly along side the 10th hole!
