Don’t know why course is so highly rated. Although greens in fantastic condition, rest of course is average. Average layout with only a few interesting holes. A few ponds in play and many forced carries off the tee, otherwise flat, long, and tree-lined fairways. Poor condition golf carts (need new ones), irons-only range. Poor COVID practices (no touchless payment and restaurant allows overcrowded indoors room with tables not socially distanced). Not a good value. Will not return- much better courses around.

Challenging, undulating course in great shape. Not crowded, free practice balls and practice greens available. New Gold tees great for seniors, as is the weekday senior rate. Not crowded at 8am and finished in less than 4hrs. Easy on and off from I-270. Overall the nicest course I have played in Maryland next to Bulle Rock. Will definitely return.

Not too difficult a course. Tree-lined but wide fairways. Great shape. Excellent COVID practices. Average layout, with no trick greens or fairways. Easy to get a low score. Able to get on in early AM, where I can’t on other MontCo courses.

This is one of the furthest courses from DC of the MontCo courses. Layout is challenging but especially the undulating greens - expect a lot of 3 putts. Great condition, good COVID practices. Very good pace of play and easy to get tee times. I am a fan - if it was only closer to me, I would play it more

Play here a lot as it is the closest MontCo course to me. Condition always great, Shorter than average course (great for seniors), not flat with good mix of interesting, challenging, and easy holes. Only a couple holes have water in play. Easy scoring course. Good COVID practices , which have brought about increased spacing and much faster pace of play than before (have never gone over 4hrs since May and played 7 times). Only negative is that it is hard to get tee times Due to popularity.
