I've played Crystal Falls Golf Course many times and it is one of my favorites. The restaurant and bar has lots of options at reasonable prices. The course is challenging, but fair. It is usually in good shape, and it provides lots of variety with the shots you'll need to hit. I wish pace of play was quicker, but most courses are very busy these days.

The course was in very good shape and pace of play was fast! Staff was friendly and we had a wonderful experience!

I have played Southglenn Country Club many times and it is always a lot of fun! The facilities are nice and the folks there are very friendly (staff and members). There are always people around ready to play some fun and interesting rounds of golf and the course is in great shape. It is a unique 9 hole par-3 golf course that has lots of character. There are strategically placed bunkers, elevation changes both up and down, and lots of mature trees. The length of the holes varies considerably as well, ranging from 95 to 220 yards, so you can hit a wide variety of clubs.

Overall, it is a great place to play and the pace of play is always excellent. I can usually play a round in under an hour, and it is relatively easy to walk as well.

This was my first time playing Forest Creek GC and I will definitely return for some more enjoyable rounds! The course is in good shape, even in early April.

About the course: it has a lot of different challenges including lots of sharp dog legs, various water hazards, and strategically located bunkers. It has relatively large greens that aren't too sloped, but provide significant challenges. The fairways are wide on some holes and very narrow on others. Bottom line, there is sufficient variation to keep it exciting.

Conditions: The club house isn't anything special but the staff was very courteous and friendly. The food was good and they have a decent place to have some beers and watch some sports. The course is in good shape. Some tee boxes aren't very flat but the greens were rolling good and fairways were coming in nicely.

Overall, I'd recommend the course to beginners and advanced golfers. Pace of play was about 4 hrs on a Sunday afternoon and it is a nice place to play.

I played the course for the first time Tuesday, May 28th and it was in very good shape. The grass in some of the fairways was a little long but they were out cutting it while we were playing. The greens were in very nice shape and were rolling well. This course was a lot of fun! The clubhouse isn't anything fancy but the folks were nice and they have a nice patio that looks out over the course and driving range. I would recommend this course for sure and I will definitely return. It is a great value and a lot of fun!!

This is the second time I've played Lost Creek in Aledo and I will definitely play it again. The course isn't in the best shape, but they are working on it and I think it will continue to get better. The staff is very friendly and helpful. And I will say that the course has character. There are some semi-blind tee shots, sharp dog legs, fun par 3's, and some great risk-reward par 5's. The course was very green but they need to keep working on flattening tee boxes, removing weeds/bad grass, and getting the greens rolling smoother. It's still a lot of fun and a great value!

I played Lago Vista Golf Course for the first time this past Saturday and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The employees were cordial, and some were very friendly (restaurant). The course was in pretty good shape. And for the money, on a Saturday morning, it was a good value and I had a good time. My two biggest complaints are:
(1) the tee boxes are all mounded so it was difficult to find a flat spot in the boxes (where we should always have a flat lie).
(2) Pace of play was extremely slow (even for a Saturday morning)! I was paired up with a 3-some that all shot 100+ but we were still waiting on EVERY shot on the 3-some in front of us. We saw the marshal a few times, but he never said anything to us and definitely didn't speed up the group in front of us.
Overall, it was still a good time, and a good value. I'll play Lago Vista again.

The staff at ShadowGlen have always been very nice and friendly. They are helpful and are always pleasant to speak with.

The pace of play has always been quite quick, even on a Saturday morning. The last round I played was a weekday afternoon round and we played in about 3.5 hours, even with some foursomes out in front of us (we were a twosome).

And the course conditions fluctuate. Overall, the course has been in good shape and they are continual working on it. The tees and greens were in great shape in the fall/early winter and the rest of the course was coming around. Now the tees, fairways, and rough are very nice but the greens are long and bumpy. I hope it is just the time of year because if the greens get better this spring, the course conditions will be excellent!

Overall, I enjoy playing ShadowGlen and if you can pick up a discount tee time on GolfNow, it is an excellent value!
