Rancocas Golf Club
Played On 06/12/2020The Best it’s Been in Years!
So glad to see such a good layout return to the conditions that used to be its norm several years ago! Rancocas is a great layout where you will more than likely use every club in your bag. The course had fallen into disrepair over the last few years, but I am pleased to say it is now in great shape! Clearly a lot of time, effort & money has been invested to bring Rancocas back to life! I can’t wait to get back out for another round here!
Oyster Reef Golf Course
Played On 01/31/2019Nice Track
This was our first time playing Oyster Reef after coming to Hilton Head for many years. The course was in nice shape overall, but some holes had very thin areas of rough (especially around the greens). Being that it is January, we elected to play preferred lies and winter rules to ensure we enjoyed our round. The staff was excellent and very friendly - amenities were very nice as well!

Played On 01/26/2019Awesome Course!!!
This was my first time playing Hilton Head National despite vacationing on the island for years. The course is a 5 Star facility across the board! The practice facility is wonderful, the staff is extremely friendly/helpful & the off course amenities are great! The course itself is very fair and playable for golfers of all abilities. The conditions for January are by far the best we played all week (6 rounds played on 5 different courses). The greens were extremely fast, but rolled true throughout the entire round. I will definitely be back!
Mixed Feelings After 4 Rounds Here
I’ll open with the positives: this place gives you a place to get reps in during the winter. They use TrackMan simulators like the guys on tour so your feedback is very accurate as opposed to other indoor facilities which use lower quality simulators. The selection of courses in their e6 Golf software is great. The 3 previous times I played here I had the place to myself and the staff was helpful/attentive. However, my experience this time around was very different....I had a 10am tee time through GolfNow and arrived a few minutes early to find 9 other guys Aside from myself waiting on the sidewalk, bags in hand - not a big deal as they don’t technically open until 10am. By the time the staff arrived to let everyone in it was 1020am. Furthermore they have 4 screens/simulators and there was 5 groups all scheduled for 10am tee times, so i was forced to pair up with a twosome - not a big deal when you’re on a regular course, but very different experience on a simulator. I only planned on being there for 60-90 minutes which is what my prior 3 rounds here took including some warm ups with the simulator in Range mode. So everyone gets to their simulators and by the time the staff gets us up and running it’s now 1030. We then get hurried along by the staff member “because he has other groups coming in behind us” and are told we can’t warm up in Range mode, even though the delay was 100% his fault! He was chatting with another guy about how he was late because he “got way too drunk the night before celebrating a friends birthday” - very professional in front of paying customers. After playing for 15-20 minutes the attendant tells us we each get an extra half hour on the back end of our session to make up for the late start. Even with 2h of simulator time we only completed 12 holes, not 18 - if I had been on my own simulator (as I should’ve been) given my GolfNow booking i would have finished 18 no problem in the allotted time just like I had in my 3 previous visits. All in all this experience left a bad taste in my mouth and I’m not sure if I will return again. If you can get a Hot Deal during the week for $25ish its a decent value, but I would never pay the rack rate of $55/hour - especially not on a weekend when you’ll experience this level of “customer service”...hopefully the staff/manager will see this email and reach out to me & the other guys who were playing the morning of Sun 3/11
River Oaks Golf Club
Played On 11/14/2016Good, not Great
We played the Fox & Otter courses at River Oaks. For being approximately a month removed from Hurricane Matthew I can't say too many negatives about the course. In addition to recovering from the Hurricane, it had also rained a fair amount the day before our round so it was cart path only. A lot of muddy areas on the course and a fair amount of bunkers had large puddles which made them unplayable. My biggest negative were the greens - they were near impossible to putt due to the firmness and speed. I am a 13 handicap and 3 putts were prevalent throughout the round. Most greens would not hold an approach shot and it honestly was like putting on asphalt - borderline unfair in my opinion. The staff was pleasant and the layout had some fun holes. I would like to try it again when conditions are better, but for now I wouldn't pay more than $25-$30
Ron Jaworski's Valleybrook Country Club
Played On 11/01/2016Value for the Price
I've played Valleybrook several times in the past and been very dissatisfied. I went back for the first time in a few years because I got a $15 Hot Deal through GolfNow and I was pleasantly surprised. The course layout is nothing spectacular, but it's generally solid. Not overly challenging, but not incredibly easy either. For November golf in Jersey the course was very green - no burn outs on any of the greens that I noticed, but they were extremely firm & fast. Most greens could not hold an approach shot, so best to Club down a bit and run your shots up instead of trying to stick it. I will definitely be back again.
Eagle's Pointe Golf Club
Played On 05/16/2016Worth The Drive
This was our first time playing this track. It was a little bit of a hike as we were staying on Hilton Head Island, but we knew this in advance (having played some of the other courses in the area). The course was in good shape and we felt it was a good overall value for the $32 we paid through GolfNow (our tee time was 330 pm). A few small burnouts on greens here and there (mostly on the edges), but they rolled true on all 18 holes. Some of the bunkers could've used a good dragging, but I have no complaints. The staff did let us know that they plan to begin aerification on 5/17, so I would avoid this course for a few weeks until the greens come back from that. We will definitely be back!
Bear Creek Golf Club
Played On 05/15/2016Hidden Gem on Hilton Head Island
First time playing at this course as it was previously a private club. We booked our round through GolfNow (not a Hot Deal). First off, all rounds here include a meal & draft beer! Just beware that the kitchen closes by 330 PM every day (this was something we were unaware of). The free meal was great, it is a sit down offering with your choice of about a dozen different entrees (burgers, sandwiches, etc.) The golf course was in outstanding condition and a very fair test. Fairways are generous on most holes, but there is a fair amount of both water & bunkers to keep things interesting. Be careful when approaching any of the water on course as we came across a couple gators during our round both in & out of the water! We will definitely be back to play again!
White Oaks Country Club
Played On 09/22/2015Ok Local Course
This was my first time playing White Oaks CC. I'll start by saying that they were actively aerating the fairways while we were playing our round (which was not disclosed on GolfNow, nor by the Pro Shop). This was not a huge deal for us in particular because we bypassed the crew on the 3rd or 4th hole. Overall the course was in fair condition. There is ALOT of trouble on this course, primarily bunkers (which were in very poor shape). There was a mix of sand and waste bunkers, none of which had been raked in some time. Greens were receptive to approach shots and fairways were in decent shape, but the course is extremely narrow by design. I can't complain about much because I scored a $14 hot deal through GolfNow, but I wouldn't pay more than about $30 to play here (rack rate is $60 before 1pm during the week).
Hi jdanihel,
Thank you for playing at White Oaks Country Club. We appreciate your feedback in regards to the aerification alerts. We are happy to hear you were able to play our course at a great price. We hope you will be able to score another great price for your round, so that you can come and see us again soon.
Best wishes,

Pitman Golf Course
Played On 09/20/2015Good Value for the Price
Pitman is a course that you can count on to be well maintained. It's a shorter course, and there quite a few holes that even the average golfer can birdie. The greens have come back very nicely from the recent aeration last month. Worth it for $30-$35
Wedgwood Country Club
Played On 09/09/2015Great Local Course!
I've played Wedgwood many times and it rarely disappoints. Sure there were some brown patches on the greens and fairways, but with the drought we've been having that's happening at most courses. The greens were rolling smooth & true. For a $20 hot deal it was more than worth it. Definitely worth playing for anyone nearby who hasn't played it before. You'll use every club in your bag.
Seaview - The Bay Course
Played On 08/27/2015Incredible Course!!!
I made the drive to SeaView to play a round as all of my local courses have recently aerated...I had heard only great things about both of SeaViews courses and the Bay Course more than lived up to the hype! The course was in immaculate shape and it was a challenging but fair layout. It's well worth the regular $80-$100 price tag, and with grabbing a $40 Hot Deal I feel like I got away with robbery...I will definitely be back!
Ron Jaworski's RiverWinds Golf & Tennis Club
Played On 08/28/2014Don't Waste Your Time Or Money!!!
I will start by saying several of my friends have played this course and it came highly recommended to me. This round turned into a huge letdown. The staff was extremely rude and the pace of play was dreadful! (Almost 6h for 18 holes on a Thursday afternoon). I cannot believe people pay $85 to play here on the weekends! The greens were littered with ball marks that had not been repaired, and because of how the course is designed, you wind up walking at least half the time, so your cart becomes almost null & void. I will certainly NOT be going back.
Hello. We appreciate you leaving a review and rating us. We're so glad you enjoyed the facility so much. We will inform the entire team, so they know their hard work is paying off. We look forward to having you back! Thanks for choosing Hilton Head.
