Smyrna Golf Course - Regulation Course
Played On 03/07/2023Horrible
When we arrived we found out we were going to play the back twice as they were "punching" the front. We were all seniors and got charged the full rate of 27.50 dollars. Then, the big shock, the back was also recently "punched" What we ended up with was impossible greens to putt. We finally gave up and took a maximum two putt on the bumpy and top treated greens, just so we could move on the course. At the turn we agreed to call it a day, There simple was no enjoyment to finish under the current conditions. We could have had the same golf experience if we had just gone to the driving range. I started to go back and ask tor a refund, but I was too MAD. Sad, because I have had really great experiences at this course in the past.

Course is in moderate to terrible condition. Greens are noticeably punched and feature numerous bare spots. Fairways are brown. Course needs much work before it will be worth playing.
Stoneybrook Golf Club
Played On 02/05/2019Soggy but not bad
Heavy rain preceded the round so, you would expect some ponds of water. Free lifts from casual water helped a lot. Greens were in excellent shape for this time of the year. Staff was friendly and helpful. Course overall was in much better shape than the last time I played.
Indian Hills Golf Course
Played On 01/02/2019Soggy, but good experience
Course was extremely wet. Car path only. Expected these conditions. Started out cold day but, improved. Overall, for the middle of winter was a good valve. Looking forward to playing again.
We're happy to hear your day improved even with wet conditions. See you soon!

Played this course a week or so ago. Greens were long and SLOW probably only a 9 stemp. Today much improved, at least in the 10 to 10.5 range. Course is really coming around with warmer temps and rain. Senior rate of 28 dollars even beats GolfNow.

For the time of the year, excellent. Staff is very accommodating and professional. Brought my buddies, who were impressed also. Arnold Parmer design design provides challenges for all level of players.

Found the greens to be in excellent condition for this time of the year. A nice surprise. Features a couple of drivable par 4's. Love the challenge to go for these. Overall, the course was in very good condition. Tree lined fairways call for good drives to score. Will absolutely play here again.

Played On 04/29/2015Sneaky trouble
Course features several blind shots and hidden water.
Could use better hole layout signs or even better GPS.
Course is extremely beautiful with rolling hills and towering trees. I truly enjoyed it. Greens were fast, but not unfair. Look forward to my next round, now that I know the trek.
Indian Hills Golf Course
Played On 04/10/2015Good Value
Course was wet from morning rains. Still played well for winter conditions. Water is plentiful and trees line virtually every hole. Accurate t shots are required making the play challenging and fun at the same time. Greens putted true. Look forward to playing course in dry conditions.
We look forward to having you back when the conditions are dry as well!

Played On 6/15/2013Good to great value for the dollar.
Excellent bargain for the money. Fairways are well maintained with some challenging tight drives. Plenty of trees make placement in the fairways critical. Greens are not perfect, but puttable. Course was not over crowded and slow players seem willing to "let you play through" a bonus.
My name is Steve and manage the marketing at Saddle Creek Golf Club. I know it has been several months since you posted this review, but I wanted to ask if you would be willing to re-review our course in the coming weeks? We have made so many changes from improvements to the greens, fairways, tee boxes and sand traps. We also have changed leadership and we now have a great General Manager in Brandon Jones. I wanted to ask if we gave you a FREE round would you be willing to check out these improvements yourself?
Hi, joecrowdergolf. Thank you for reviewing the course. Your feedback about the course is important to us. We are working to get everything up to par. We have projects ongoing and the current condition is by no means the standard we strive to achieve. We are going to escalate your feedback to our team so we can make improvements before your next game, and we will continue to work towards an excellent experience by using your comment for guidance. Thank you for playing Saddle Creek Golf Club. We hope to see you again soon.
