I play golf every week. Top courses in town too JW, La Cantera, Canyon Springs. I have never seen so many marshalls buzzarding around constantly. It was starting to get uncomfortable. Non of whom seemed friendly or made any effort to engage in friendly conversation. I could say it seemed as if it were because we are not locals but they were buzzarding everyone not just our 4some so this must just be how they roll. Nonetheless it’s awkward and comes across ill intended. The course itself is a gem and I would play it again. Perhaps they. An learn to relax so their customers can relax as well.

The clubhouse area looks fantastic. You can tell they’ve put some money into this place since the last time I played here last year…good on them for that. However, they must be supplementing that cost expense by cheapening out on course amenities such as simple ball wash stations or drinking water. Fellas Covid has long since been over. Quit being cheap… put water jugs and ball wash stations out on the course before somebody has a heat stroke. Your cart girl had one bottle of water and it was 10 in the morning and just starting to get hot.

I can’t believe they took my full green fee with a straight face knowing the shape of their greens. This round should have come with a half priced replay when they get their greens back from the dead. To boot the round was an hour slow with no Marshall pushing groups in front of us. And every par 3 is dam near 220+. Don’t think I will be back.

The course is fantastic and for that i would recommend playing it to a friend other than that not worth going. Only advice if you plan to play here is to go on a slow weekday. Obviously it was overbooked Saturday and pace was the worst I've ever experienced...anywhere. Snails pace. Another big problem is...well...lets just say since its a muni it attracts a certain customer base. Just being honest. I saw so much idiocy it was astounding! Guys hitting into other groups, hitting their carts, zinging balls past us, and dam near saw two other groups fight. People jumping in between us and the group ahead at the turn because the clubhouse said “just jump in at the 10 since we have a kids tournament on the front 9”. News flash clubhouse, we are already at a crawl stop booking tee times. A real zoo out there. That gorgeous course deserves better. Too bad.
