Goreway Golf Club
Played On 09/17/2022Good Budget Nine Hole Track
Parkshore was a pleasant surprise. I was expecting it to be a hacker’s track but it was in good condition and played to a fair degree of difficulty. Water everywhere and forces you to make good shots or go fishing on nearly every hole. Good value for money if looking for a basic nine hole course
Cherry Downs Golf and Country Club
Played On 09/05/2022One of the Very Best in the GTA
A must play course cut out of the beautiful Rouge Valley. Degree of difficulty is very high. Greens were like glass…and added at least 5 strokes. A great test of golf
Lowville Golf Club
Played On 08/21/2021Extremely poor service and overpriced
For a green fee with cart of $100 Lowville is not good value for money. It was an extremely hot and humid summer day and there was not a single drink cart out on our entire back nine. No water coolers on the course either. This was on a four and a half hour round. At a rate of $100 a round our expectations were much higher.
Afterwards when we provided this feedback to the first staff member we saw in the clubhouse/restaurant we were met with a rude and angry reply that included a statement that there was a drink cart on our back nine when there wasn’t.
We will not be returning to play here and we will definitely be sharing our negative experience at Lowville with family and friends
Verrado Golf Club - Victory Course
Played On 08/12/2021Great track
If you enjoy desert mountain courses you will love Verrado Victory. It differs from Verrado Founders in that it is not quite as hilly and doesn’t play quite as long.
Course is in excellent shape and will challenge all levels of golfers. Victory is a must play in the West Valley.
Trafalgar Golf and Country Club
Played On 09/28/2020Decent track
Frist time golfing Trafalgar. Course overall is average. For a previously private club, expected facilities and amenities to be better than what they are. Course layout is fine. A medium-difficulty challenge. Course conditions/maintenance in good shape. Not sure if we'll return. Better options in the area.
Wyldewood Golf and Country Club
Played On 08/30/2020Solid Option In The City
Since rates have dropped Wyldewood represents one of the best value-for-money tracks in the GTA. Course is a good test of golf. In good condition. Clubhouse and amenities are dated but if you’re coming out of the golf this is a fun track
Wyldewood Golf and Country Club
Played On 08/17/2020Fun and Challenging
A fun and challenging track. Par 4s all play long. Course in terrific shape. We will be back
Granite Ridge Golf Club - Cobalt
Played On 05/18/2015Nice Course By The Escarpment
This is a nice golf course situated next to the Niagara Escarpment in Milton, ON making for a very picturesque setting with a real country feeling to it, conveniently located just a short drive from the Greater Toronto Area. The course conditions were good except for the greens which were not excellent but only likely due to it being very early in the season. We played the Blue-White hybrid which provided enough distance to make it challenging enough. There is plenty of water throughout the course and a few narrow driving holes which added to the fun of the day. The course is not overly long but requires you to be accurate throughout to score well. Many greens are multi-tiered requiring your putter to be 'on' if you want to score well here. I would return and recommend to a friend!
Glen Eagle Golf Club - Blue/Yellow
Played On 5/20/2013Fun course!
Played the red 9 then the blue 9. Course was fairly well maintained. Greens are massive and well groomed. Very little water to contend with which makes the course a bit more forgiving. Located in picturesque Caledon, ON. Definitely good value.
