This course is a mix of old and new. Some holes are almost 100 years old others are 20 years old. The greens are in nice shape and fast. The layout is nice. The traps are transitioning to grass filled holes. The fairways were a little long and the rough was over grown. A lot of potential on this course but needs some TLC

Took the first tee time and things were great for the first 15 holes when I ran in to 3 groups of 4 who started on the 10th. I ended my round at this point since I couldn't play through 3 groups and I was trying to get in a quick round on my last day in Florida. Not sure why they had groups starting on 10 since the course wasn't busy. Ruined a good day.

This course is getting better and better. Good value for the money

We had a good round at this course, played in four hours fifteen minutes. Course is getting better as it gets a little rain on it. Well laid out, and challenging.

I played this course again even though it is not in great shape. It has a good layout and would be very challenging with some upgrades such as tee boxes and sand trap make overs.

Tee boxes mostly sand. Fairways are coming back. Older course which, with enough attention, will come back as a really good tract. Greens are not too bad and are recovering from winter kill.

The greens were very poor as they start to grow. Maybe they will be better when they get cut and rolled. The fairways were bare and brown. The pace was slow with one foresome in front of us getting 3 holes behind and not catching up and no ranger in sight

The course holes were a little mixed up with a new course layout being implemented. Very long round due to one slow foursome in front of us who backed up at least 5 groups. No ranger on the course to get them to pick up the pace. Some holes were a little dried out and looking pretty bad other holes were in great condition. Greens were OK with some fungus. Fast greens.

You could see this course was once a very high end course. It has a good layout and some challenging holes with lots of water and sand on the course. The condition was only good at best. They are doing some watering and bringing it back from a long dry winter.

Still needs to improve but it has good bones and is coming back slowly.

Round was great until the back 9 when the put 2 fore- somes doing a replay in front of us and changed a 4.5 hour round to a 5+ hour round. Kind of wrecked a decent day.

Played this course in just over 3.5 hours. Nice course and quite challenging

Second time playing this course in a week. Enjoyed the second round as much as the first except someone decided to book tee times at 4 minute intervals around my tee time. As you can imagine this impacted the round and not in a good way. Close to a 5 hour round with a lot of waiting at each shot.

A little rough around the edges but all in all a decent course at a good price. Was off second and was able to whip around in 2 hours.

Course is a little rough, not country club quality but very playable. Enjoyable 4 hour round.

Enjoyed the course but it could use some sprucing up.

Thundering Waters was probably a great course at one time before some land was sold off to make room for the new houses being built near the course. I would usually play a course at 6100-6300 yards. I played this course at 5800 yards. The course offers very difficult tee shots and very small landing areas. You need to be very accurate as any misplaced shots will penalize you. Not sure how many bunkers are on the course but I would guess over a 100 and they are deep. Probably enjoy it much more a second or third time around. The course was also very wet, cart path only.
