The Bridges at Springtree Golf Club
Played On 11/12/2023Gotten Worse Since Last Played
While this course would never be among the best ever, it seems to have gone further down hill. The course is in mediocre condition. It’s a course that gets no respect. No one rakes the bunkers. No one repairs ball marks.
The biggest disappointment was the fact that using rental clubs, you had to pay extra for balls, tees, etc. And the clubs were garbage. A men’s driver in a women’s set, for example
Granite Ridge Golf Club - Cobalt
Played On 08/10/2020Decent Layout Inspite of a couple of quirky holes
I have played this course multiple times and in large measure provides a pleasant and challenging round. There are a couple of holes (8 and 16 come to mind) that are a little unusual but overall enjoyable.
Country Club of Coral Springs
Played On 11/12/2018Slow play for most of the round
This course is one of our favorites but this time probably too many twosomes were allowed resulting in very slow play for much of the round. While we prefer to play without another twosome, this is definitely a double-edged sword. Sadly, if the course is this busy now, imagine what it might be like once their new clubhouse opens, presumably later this year.
Country Club of Coral Springs
Played On 03/08/2018Very Good Value for an Above Average Course
Booked online with GN for weekday prime time at excellent rate. Course offers plenty of challenges with a fair amount of water. Greens are in particularly good shape. A number of tee boxes are being rebuilt.
Royal/Sabal at Grand Palms Golf & Country Club
Played On 01/19/2018Would play here again
Although this course is a bit far from Pompano Beach, we found the course to be in good/very good condition, especially the tee boxes and greens. There is enough water to add some challenge for most levels. We played mid-afternoon in January and got through 17 holes before it got marginally too dark to play. Compared with some South Florida Clublink-owned courses, this was in much better shape for comparable greens fees.
Dragon's Fire Golf Club
Played On 05/22/2017Good Challenge without Being Target Golf
This was the second time playing this course over the past year. The course was crowded so that on the front nine, we had to wait for the group ahead of us on virtually every hole. For a high handicapper (I shot 102), it offers decent challenges but plays long. A couple of par 5s are entirely uphill. I will definitely want to play this course again.
Lowville Golf Club
Played On 08/17/2014Lovely Mountainside Course
Excellent course conditions but be prepared for long uphill fairways and uneven lies. You'll feel like a pro teeing off from elevated tees on downhill holes however.
Oaks at Palm-Aire Country Club
Played On 11/27/2013Dependably well maintained
Played on a day following a heavy downpour the night before. Overall, the course drained well and midway through the round the fairways were dry enough for carts.
