Kind of neglected to tell us about the aerification of the greens, tees, fairways, rough, etc...Very average conditions. Old course...no problem...decent layout...Nasty help. until you tip them well.

Near perfect greens. Excellent fairway grasses. No complaints whatsoever. Pace of play was good, a little less than 4 hours. Staff was very accommodating, and friendly. I will go back again.

The course is very nice, very quick greens, etc. The pace of play was terrible. The Ranger refused to nudge the 4 some in front of us (obviously members), even though they were almost 2 holes behind. Course conditions were great.

Tough course. Better hit the landing zones or get out another ball. Excellent grass in fairways. Rough not too tough. Greens were pretty good. Not too fast. Not for a beginner, or anyone who is wild off the tee. Blue/White combo tees is about 6150. Plenty difficult test of just about all but the scratch players. Very enjoyable.

I’ve played this course over the years, both good and bad conditions. The course is pretty bad right now. No grass, to speak of, in the fairways, bunkers were mud, tees all chopped up, greens had bare spots that had been sanded, etc. it is pretty much a mess. Not recommended at this time.

Basically a scrub course, but it was in surprisingly good condition..Bare spots on the greens, and the fairways were a common thing. However, the greens rolled pretty good. Not bad for the $$$ spent.

I've played this course many times over the years, and this is the best condition I've seen it in, in years. Fairways were excellent, even cut, no bare spots. Greens were running about a 10 on the stimp., but could've been cut and rolled to make them a little faster, but that's just my preference. If you play from the #2 tees, it will give you all you want. Highly recommended..

Not a great, must play course, but it is entertaining. Greens were pretty good, not fast, nor stupid slow. Great value for the money. I shot even par on the front, and skied to a 43 on the back. Still a pretty good round.

Greens are hard and fast. Pretty good layout. Staff, very friendly, and attentive..Good value

This course is always in top notch condition. Undulating greens that are fast, about 11.5 when I played. You can score if you just keep it in play with wide fairways, and not a lot of trouble, except for the major wayward shots. The course continues to get better each year. WCI owns this course, so there's plenty of money to keep it in superb shape. If you're even close to the area, play this course, you'll leave with a smile, no matter what your score is!

The new owner is trying hard to bring this course back from the dead, and has spent a lot of money to do so, but it is a process. I'm sure it will eventually be a really good course, but right now, it's very average (condition wise). Really good layout, with interesting holes..Some are wide open, yet others demand a dead straight shot, trees on 1 side, and water on the other.Very nice staff. Prices are very good, both in the bar, and on the course. I hope everything works out alright for this hard working new owner.

This course is always, always, always in super shape. If you play the correct T's for your handicap, you can score, assuming you don't get your approach shot above the pin too often. If you do, you will pay with a 3 putt nearly every time. From 6400 yards, it will give a sub 10 handicap all they can handle. From the tips, forget about it, unless you're a very low single digit, and then it will be a strong test. Do yourself a favor, and check your ego at the pro shop. Play within your abilities (chose the right T's), and you'll certainly end the round with a big smile, whether you play well, or not. I can't say enough good things about this course. I'd give it 6 stars, if I could!!

SN is very consistent..Excellent greens, and fairways. Don't get above the pin, or a 3 putt is very likely. No complaints whatsoever. I'd play there every day if I lived in the area. Worth the drive. EXCELLENT TRACK

I've played this course numerous times, always a good time. Conditions were good, except the greens were a little bumpy, but still quick. From the blues, it's very challenging. From the tips, it's...well a handful. No "A" game. Don't play anything but the whites, unless you are a 10 handicap, or less. Plenty of water, twists, and turns. You need to shape it both left, and right to score on this track. Highly recommended. FYI, bring an extra ball or 2, or 3. you'll most likely need them!!

Excellent condition, as always. Good, pretty fast greens. Nice fairways (didn't see a lot of them). Pace of play, excellent. Worth playing, even if you're a beginner, or a single digit.

Always excellent condition. Greens were 11 1/2 on the stimp. Slick, and undulating. A must play in the Sarasota area. Highly recommended. You'll be glad you did.

Not recommended..Greens are terrible..Fairways awful..People very nice.

Greens were lumpy, and slow..Sparse fairways..Generally not in good shape at all.

I've played a lot of courses in many countries, some expensive and some cheap. This course tops just about all of them. Lush, thick fairways, and undulating greens. Tee to green, EXCELLENT..Staff, very friendly, courteous, and generally willing to help make your experience noteworthy. My only gripe was I would've liked to see the greens rolled, and cut to speed them up a bit, very minor. The scenery was stunning, with 360* mountain vistas. A must play if you are in the area!!
