A ALMOST NEW COURSE ON THE NORTH EDGE OF LAKEWOOD RANCH. LUSH, GREEN, AND BEAUTIFUL. IT CAN BE AS CHALLENGING AS YOU LIKE IT. EXCELLENT, PLAYABLE LAYOUT. SLICK, SMOOTH GREENS. FRIENDLY FRIENDLY STAFF. LOTS OF FUN FOR ALL SKILL LEVELS. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED IF YOU ARE IN THE SARASOTA AREA. IT SOON WILL GO PRIVATE, SO PLAY IT WHILE YOU CAN.

The whole course (3 nine's) is well taken care of. Greens are rolling about an 11 on the stimp meter. Undulating greens make you pay attention. Very easy to putt it off the green from above the hole. 1ST Class facility. EXCELLENT food. Prices aren't cheap, but are reasonable for what you get.

This used to be a pristine course, but it has slipped some. The structures are showing their age, and need better maintenance. Greens are still good, but cart paths are crumbling somewhat, muddy tracks around them, etc. Kind of sad, really.

Absolutely the finest course in the area. Cross cut fairways..undulating, fast greens..4 sets of tees for all skill levels..excellent restaurant/bar..beautiful clubhouse. You are treated as if you are at a private Country Club at Glendarin Hills. It is worth the time, and money to experience this course. Range balls are included with your fee. Excellent practice facility.

STARTER SENT OUT VOLUMES OF 2 SOME'S. DIDN'T PAIR PEOPLE UP INTO 4 SOME'S. WAITED OVER AN HOUR AT THE TURN, THEN JUST GAVE UP BECAUSE THE PACE WAS STUPID SLOW!! COURSE IS A FUN COURSE. I'VE PLAYED IT MANY TIMES. THEY NEED TO IMPROVE THE MANAGEMENT..IE, ON COURSE RANGER (THERE WAS NONE)..PAIR PEOPLE UP INTO FOURSOMES, ETC.

EXCELLENT COURSES..2 NINE'S WITH DISTINCT PERSONALITIES. LOTS OF TROUBLE EVERYWHERE. COURSE MANAGEMENT IS AT A PREMIUM ON THIS TRACT. NICE GREENS. RANGERS DIDN'T POLICE PACE OF PLAY VERY WELL.

Good value for your money. Always in good shape. Greens are not fast, but not stupid slow either. Typical of most courses, people tend not to let you play thru.

Excellent condition, except #16 green is mostly burnt out. They say they are correcting that. #17 green was so fast, it was pretty much unfair..1' above the hole left you with a 10' putt if you missed it!! Greens rolled excellent other than that Very nice layout. Highly recommended.

Not recommended..Course was in shoddy condition. Lots of money needs to be spent to upgrade/maintain the course. Worst condition I've ever seen it in.

Lots of water..lots of doglegs..Most of the greens are elevated, and the surface is smooth and slick!! Traps are very playable, and numerous. Staff was as friendly as they possibly could be. Actually a lot more so than our private club. Not cheap, but very worth the money. Highly recommended!!

From the gold tees expect about 6,600 yards. Black tees at more than 7,300, you need to be a single gigit golfer to have any fun. Excellent greens run about a 10-11 on the stimp. A couple of 440+ par 4's form the gold tees. Most of the par 5's are risk=reward, but make a mistake, and double comes into play easily. Excellent value at 29.00 in near high season. Highly recommended.
