Ponce de Leon Golf Course
Played On 09/03/2017Another Quality HSV golf course
Most every course played this summer in the village has shown excellent care, friendly staff and a fun golfing experience. Most rounds have had a heavy turnout to play that day making the time of play almost always 4 hrs. Sometimes others get in a hurry when there is no possibility of speeding up play or playing thru unfortunately but this can happen anywhere. Will return to play over and over.
Cortez Golf Course
Played On 07/29/2017Another HSV Winner
Solid course, the value exceeds the cost paid. All facilities in good shape. Bent grass is suffering in spots due to the heat and dryness in July but sure to be excellent soon. Not bad now! Busy course and played a bit slow due to art path only. Enjoy a round here! Will return....
Pinecrest Golf Club
Played On 06/18/2017There are Better in the Area
Reading other reviews guided my decision to play here. The course is in a residential neighborhood in Bluffton as it winds thru the houses and water. Playing in June you would expect it to be in top condition. The tees need attention around the course, from divots to replanting turf so they have more than weeds. Greens were better and the fairways were ok. The course had a number of players being Father's Day weekend and it may have had more beginners than usual. The rate of play was very s l o w.
The clubhouse was nice, no one in there eating. Rental Club charges were not too high. Another course near by charged more than the round.
Like a course at home, but one to play away
Looking for a course near Savannah for close in playing and not driving to Hilton Head, Crosswinds offered a nice play for the price. Condition of the course was like several of my home courses, good t boxes, ok fairways but some rough spots and nice greens. Some course gators, so be aware if retrieving a ball. Iced bottled water was provided on your cart and on the front and back, very nice touch. Staff was friendly and helpful. Players following us lacked skill in patience, hitting into us twice, notifying a marshal at the turn helped them understand we can't go faster than those in front of us, so relax. The pace wasn't terrible, just stacked.
If you can book a T time at a Hot Deal rate, you will bet your money's worth, but weekend rack rate is a bit high, when hot deals on other courses will be a better value.
The Club at Savannah Harbor
Played On 06/15/2017A jewel in Savannah
Played here again this year and found the course great as always. Staff right on top of things, from loading your bag to cleaning your clubs, they do it all. The condition of the course was great, allowing for the rebuilding of the areas badly damaged by the hurricane passing thru last fall. You can truly play gator golf here and mind yourself as many of the holes and hazards have resident gators protecting your stray drives.
Played with others there and very friendly to meet. Look forward to the next visit to Savannah and this course.
War Memorial Park Golf Course
Played On 06/07/2017City Retreat
Located centrally in Little Rock, this course offers a quick round of golf with well cared for greens and a good value. Much better shape than the city course acrosx the river.
Granada Golf Course

Played this course right after a summer downpour and it was still phenomenal. Drove up in a drenching downpour, cancelled the round, then began looking for a course out of the path of the storm. Began to clear off unexpectedly and then had the course to ourselves. It was fantastic!
Course condition was excellent. Tee boxes, fairways, greens - everything was done in an excellent fashion. Water drained well too. Layout was challenging and yet manageable for the average golfer. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Fellow golfers were very friendly as well. Read a review that must have gotten cross with someone, we never met that person.
Will continue to play in Hot Springs Village here and her other courses.
Oyster Reef Golf Course
Played On 11/27/2016Nice Recovery - 5 Stars next year!
Enjoyed a Holiday round late November and they have done a nice job of clearing the downed trees from the course and reopened for play. The greens are still nice and fairways suffered little from the storm but the rough is really rough. A shot into the trees is nearly a ball death sentence when hiding in the pine straw. Take some extras if you have a non straight ball on occasion.
This course has a real love of bunkers. You will find the fairway bunkers are just the right distance from the tees to challenge your placement. The the green protection will have you blasting out, but still a fun time.
There were not many on the course but unfortunately playing as a single, only the group ahead offered to let me thru, so practice shots and ball hunting excursions made for the afternoon. Would recommend you enjoy Oyster Reef when the opportunity arises.
Greystone Country Club
Played On 09/15/2016Enjoyable challenge
Greystone offers a change from other central Ar play. Great turf on fairways, nice greens, woods and water to make the play interesting. Not many playing last week at all but have been there and was trapped behind 5 somes before. Might want to call for good placement. Nice grill. Range and putting green. Twilight play is a bargain at $15. Enjoy!
Executive at Rebsamen Park Golf Course
Played On 09/11/2016Nice city course/reasonable fee
Rebasamen is an above average city course. Great greens, ball eating Bermuda ruff, and leaf confusing lies but a nice golf course which can be forgiving to s slice or a hook. The down sid. Rebasamen can play slow. New golfers and slow foursomes and make for a 4.5-5 hr round and when you are a two some always waiting without yield it will be the afternoon. Golf now rated are great savings. The city should back this fine course and help with some labor to fill up ruts around cart paths, everywhere, and help with more frequent mowing. Make this course first class!
The Pointe Golf Course
Played On 06/24/2016Nice round
The course is an above avg public course as expected to be for golf village. Nice club house and grill. Friendly staff. Reasonable pricing. 5 some though slowed the pace of play and no offer to let through. Not expected on such course. We seem to have these special groups on some clubs which can grind play to a crawl and other groups who are courteous and offer speedy pass through
Eagle Hill Golf & Athletic Club
Played On 03/14/2016Challenging
Eagle Hill while not being a complicated course and not having water on every hole, but it will post a challenge to golfers. Bermuda greens are the best thing going for this course. Pace was good with many 2/3 somes playing in the afternoon. No large groups seen. With some attention to landscaping this course would be a standout.
Hot deal a good value. Nice grill for sandwiches daily. The club has a pool and weight room for members.
The Club at Savannah Harbor
Played On 12/23/2015Holiday fun.
The Club was a great outting in Savannah this Christmas holiday. The course was in great condition with winter green grass on both the fsirways and greens. Rain had soaked the area but the drainage was superior and 90' rule prevailed here when others were cart path only. Christmas Eve golf in 80 degree weather was a rare occurance in the South. Great staff in Pro Shop and on the course. The Westin Spa shares the club house so you can book a massage before you head to the 19th hole and dinner. Beware! A big ole aligator was sunning on the 17th hole today. So use caution when retrieving those balls in the marsh grasses....
The Country Club of Arkansas
Played On 07/28/2015One of areas best
the Country Club Of Arkansas is one of the best values as well as one of the best courses to play this summer. Both the greens and the fairways are in good shape, even with the heat. T times are available at 6:30 am which allows you to finish before it gets too hot, and the course has lots of shaded areas. See you out there.
